I hired Wichita Doula for 100 hours of post partum support when my baby arrived and they did an absolutely phenomenal job. I was anxious about being left alone with my 3 other young kids and the baby by myself when my husband had to go back to work and they didn't miss one single shift. I literally did not do one load of laundry or the dishes once in the entire first month post partum. I was able to take naps and rest while they looked after my other children, cooked our meals, washed, folded and put away our laundry, swept and mopped my floors...the list goes on. They also kept me sane with company and adult conversation. This was my 4th baby and by far the best recovery I've ever had from childbirth. They were amazing all around and I plan on calling on them as needed when my husband travels for work this year.

Wichita Doula was caring, professional and knowledgable throughout the whole process. We were provided excellent information and resources that exceeded our expectations and allowed us to feel prepared and confident. I never felt judged in any way when considering different options and asking questions. Sara attended a prenatal appointment with me to meet my doctor, even waiting over an hour for the appointment when the office was running late. My labor ended up being 27hrs and we were supported by Wichita Doula the entire time (yes, Sara was fantastic at supporting my husband as well. I absolutely needed both of them). While my birth plan didn't go exactly as planned, it felt good to be able to consult with both the medical staff and my doula; The professionalism of Wichita Doula even impressed the nursing staff who worked well with Sara as part of my team. The confidence this gave my husband and I in our decisions was priceless. We were never "told" what to do, or given medical advice against what a nurse or doctor advised, just given information about options we wouldn't have thought of on our own. A healthy baby and mom was priority number one, but priority number two was to have a birth experience with no regrets; Wichita Doula was instrumental in allowing me to meet both goals. A couple days after leaving the hospital, Sara arrived at our house like an angel; she brought the best muffins I've ever had, made us a meal and cleaned the kitchen, offered breastfeeding encouragement and information, and made sure to tell me how awesome I was through labor and delivery and how beautiful my baby was. This postpartum visit was the best thing I never knew I needed. I would strongly recommend Wichita Doula and plan to use their services myself for any future children.

The service was great! Sara responded promptly when we first started inquiring about placenta encapsulation, then was extremely professional and enjoyable to have in our home during the process. She was so knowledgeable, before, during and even after, when we had questions. It was great to know she was certified and has had her process approved - quality and experience we can trust! and I am enjoying the great benefits of my capsules and looking forward to having the tincture for the future.  Thanks Sara and Wichita Doula!!

I tried Placenta Encapsulation for the first time with my 3rd pregnancy. Some of the postpartum advantages I noticed with using the placenta capsules were an increase in milk supply. I definitely have more milk with my 3rd compared to my other 2. I also noticed that I didn't have problems with acne after having my child like I did with my other 2. I am 8 weeks postpartum now and done with all the capsules and have not noticed any hair loss yet which I have had with my other 2 children as well. I personally didn't notice a difference in energy like I have heard from other women who have done placenta encapsulation but that could also contribute to having 3 kids ages 4 and under! :) If I have anymore children I would do placenta encapsulation again!
