Brooklyn, NY Serves families in Brooklyn and Manhattan
When I first found out I was pregnant, I knew Lis was who I wanted as a doula. Her energy is so calming and welcoming, and with the homebirth I was planning, I envisioned her beside me as I labored around my apartment, offering water and backrubs and affirmations. I was right- Lis did all those things, and more. She stayed with us for two days as my labor took all sorts of twists and turns, and she held my hand as my husband rested and reminded me of my strength when I felt I couldn't go on. I was so glad that her grounded spirit was one of the firsts my daughter encountered earthside, and I'm so grateful for her support through my pregnancy and birth.
