I'd like to give a huge shout out and thank you to Anita for supporting my family post partum. All five of us! It's hard to ask for help and Anita brought an energy that showed me not only that I could, but that she was willing. Every shift Anita showed up as if she were only 5 mins away and didn't have anything else going on that day but to help us- always present and patient. Never rushed or carrying baggage from something else unrelated to us.

When tending to baby, Anita was so calm and determined to help soothe- unphased by long durations of crying. For awake time, she would give undivided attention. I would often sneak a peek to see them bonding through eye contact and lovely words which are critical to baby's belonging in the world.

I felt that my family was the focus, however, I could ask about Anita and she'd share something about herself/family beyond the distant "I'm doing good" response. This made her more relatable and built a relationship.

All positive things to say! We were even spoiled with cinnamon rolls and meals from time to time. 

I will seek out care from Anita for my next babe(s)! You can tell she truly enjoys this line of work.

Anita supported our family in early postpartum weeks and the loving care and dedication she provided was life-altering. Anita showed up to our home every week with love and intention, her presence was like a warm hug walking in the door. As the birthing parent, she consistently made sure I was fed and optimal space was offered for my rest and healing. She listened to my experience with intention and curiousity but also left room for me to enjoy a moment of silence in peace. I always felt like the priority in Anita’s care but she took on SO much else- she had her hand in every pot in our home and family and made such an impact on us getting through. She joyously played with big siblings, snuggled our sweet little babe when we needed a break and was always willing to support our everlasting needs for clean dishes and laundry. Having a postpartum doula as thoughtful and attentive as Anita made us feel held and loved through a really challenging time and was the support we needed to be able to transition into the expansion of our family with love and joy. Anita will always have a very special place in our hearts.
