Holly was our post partum doula and I can't recommend it enough. We had a lot of challenges: my birth plan went sideways because of an emergency c-section, my milk didn't come until 2 weeks pp and baby had a lip/tongue tie that made feeding very difficult. If it wasn't for Holly, I would have gone crazy. She was my coach and cheerleader every step of the way. Even though we were working with a lactation consultant to fix our issues, it was Holly who helped me have confidence when I was ready to throw in the towel. She's very patient and kind, always cheerful and full of useful advice.
Our families are abroad, so we didn't have much support, and as first time parents, we had zero experience. Holly taught us to swaddle, to use the stretchy wrap to carry the baby, how to soothe him and how to make tummy time fun. She even helped with our dog and took her for walks. It was a pleasure to work with Holly and learn so much from her.
