Rebecca was an awesome doula and support for my husband and I throughout the labor and delivery and when we decided to work with her.

From the start of the process, we leveraged Birth Tribe to set up 4 interviews with Doulas that are part of the network and it was great because you could find who you clicked with in order to hire them. I clicked with Rebecca right away, we had things in common and it was easy to talk to her. From there she had two prenatal visits that were super helpful to build our relationship and to show my husband and I different techniques and the three sisters of balance to prepare for labor. Along the way she was super helpful as well with any questions we had, I decided to switch OBGYNs at week 37 (I know crazy!), but Rebecca was there for support and counseling and to offer her network as well if I wanted to switch to them. Most importantly, during the labor and delivery Rebecca was awesome, she was an advocate for us, when doctors were pushing certain medication, she advised us what we could wait on and the risks, etc. for taking it. She also helped so much with coaching my husband and I through the pain of labor, what support by husband could provide, and how I could position myself to get through the toughest contractions. She was right there was we welcomed our beautiful baby boy, and took the priceless first pictures of us as a family, which you don't realize how truly priceless they are until you can look back on them! I would recommend Rebecca to anyone, she was great and having a doula be a part of the labor & delivery was so worth it, I would 100% do it again!

Thanks again Rebecca!

Rebecca was amazing in every way I had hoped for. My first birth experience was extremely traumatic and I was very anxious going into birth #2. Becca always made me feel comfortable to ask for her advice and assistance. I was hoping to have a VBAC and wanted to have a doula so I could have extra sense of relaxation and comfort. Becca helped my husband and I prepare with learning various comfort measures and she came prepared to the birth with various resources. I can say that I had a successful, amazing VBAC experience and I am so grateful to Becca for everything she did for us!

My husband and I started looking for a postpartum doula to help me after bringing our second baby home. I knew right away that I wanted Rebecca to be the person to support me after birth. Right off the bat I was super comfortable talking with Rebecca, one of the biggest reasons I went with her was my toddler who I believe to be a great judge of character wanted to play with Rebecca right away and offered her a hug when she left. I liked Rebecca so much I ended up wanting her as my doula as well. She was great about checking in with me, asking about upcoming appointments, offering to go with me to appointments and when I found out I needed a scheduled c sections she had a plethora of knowledge for me! I loved having her at the hospital for my c-section, it was a great comfort having another women there to support me. My husband had to go back to work pretty much right after I had the baby. Rebecca was great about scheduling time to be with me, always punctual  ( which is supper important to me).  Rebecca was great with having both my girls so I could rest. On the days that she wasn’t with me she would check on me, I felt comfortable reaching out to her with any questions I had. I also just truly enjoyed her company it was nice to have another adult to talk to. I wish I could have kept her longer!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Rebecca! She was our doula for the birth of our first child so the experience was new and unknown. Rebecca helped to make the entire process calm and positive which was very important to me and my husband. She was extremely knowledgeable which helped me to feel empowered and ultimately enabled me to request what I needed from the nurses and doctors. Her techniques to control for pain really helped me to work through contractions longer than I ever expected I could. She also gave such clear direction during the actual delivery which helped me to stay focused and strong. Both my husband and mother were with me during the birth and they both felt that having Rebecca there was so helpful not only for me but for their own reassurance and knowledge. I look back on that day and have nothing but great memories and that is all thanks to Rebecca’s support and advocacy - we couldn’t have done it without her! Thank you Rebecca!

Coming home after an unplanned C section made me more than a little nervous.  Rebecca arrived first thing in the morning and helped me settle in for the road to recovery.  She helped with breastfeeding (something not even hospital staff was able to do), making sure I was eating to produce milk and was an excellent guide in the day to day necessities of a new mother.

I was nervous again when it was time for her to leave but she taught me the fundamentals I needed and I feel confident with my first baby!

Thank you, Rebecca!

I decided to hire a doula for the labor/delivery of my first child as I was extremely nervous and worried about what labor would be like and all the unknown that comes along with delivering a baby for the first time. I really appreciated that Rebecca met with my husband and I a few weeks before the birth to listen to our birthing plan and also to explain in detail all the stages of labor and what I could expect. For someone who chose not to watch any labor videos before birth, this meeting helped explain what I may experience during labor without the graphic or startling images that I wanted to avoid in the videos!

Rebecca then came to our home a second time before delivery to show us some exercises and stretches that would help before labor and also during contractions. These exercises were extremely useful in those early hours of labor when I was just laboring at home and also before I got an epidural and while my contractions were escalating at the hospital.

Rebecca then joined us in the delivery room after I received my epidural and through the birth of my son. She was very comforting and relaxed throughout the entire time and this helped me to remain calm, cool and collected even during moments of pain. Rebecca also did a great job of providing support while I pushed and even stayed after the birth for a few hours to meet the baby and check in on how I was feeling. Lastly, she followed up with a post partum visit to catch up on how everything was going in those first few weeks and to help answer any questions I had about the baby or my own recovery.

I definitely would recommend Rebecca to other women who are looking for that extra support and comfort during the birthing process!

I was having a vbac and wanted the support of someone besides my husband that had knowledge of exactly what i would be going through.

I opted to not have one with my first when I had a c section because my daughter was breech. I wish I had researched more and had a doula then.

This time around I didnt want to make the same mistake, I did alot of research, of how a doula would help, and reading that they help in vbac and the success rate to be higher. I wanted to give it a try.

I would be delivering in Danbury Hospital and both my hospital and OB were vbac supportive, the fee was amazingly low for the service you get, it was easy to set up and had all my questions answered.

My water broke during a snow storm, we made our way to the hospital and was told whenever i wanted they would call in my doula. I couldn't wait to meet her and get her help.

Finally Rebecca came in, right from the beginnng I knew we would remain in touch and friends for life.

She was welcoming, friendly and ready to get to work in making me feel as comfortable and pain free as much as possible. She got me fluids, and would give the best massages in helping the pain with my contractions, we would walk which i wanted to do as much as i could and talk and she made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. She would give me information and advice and made me feel powerful to get through what labor was going to be. I was terrified going in for a vbac, but with the support of my loving husband and the love advice and support of Rebecca I was able to have a successul vbac 18 hours after my water broke. Rebecca was informative and supportive in everything, and I would recommend her and doula to anyone, in any situation, I can' thank her enough. We will keep in touch and she will see our daughter grow up.

Thank you Rebecca Greenberg keep up the amazing work you do. It's your calling and you are amazing at it.

We had a doula fall through at the last minte (my baby was overdue) and Rebecca was very accomodating and warm and showed up last minute. Due to this I was in active labor by the time we met in person and she felt like my savior when she came in to the delivery room. I was instantly comfortable with her and she seemed to read my mind as to what I needed.  She was very intuitive throughout my labor (which was aweseome since I could only use monosyllables) and knew exactly what would help me make it through a very difficult labor during which I had to have Pitocin. She was warm, personable, and extremely helpful. She came to our house for a follow up postpartum visit and it was great to have her as a resource. Overall she is an amazing doula and I highly recommend her to anyone. If I ever have another baby I will definitely plan to have her as a doula again, this time making sure it is all arranged ahead of time. She was an invaluable part of my birth experience.

Rebecca was a relaxed yet strong presence during the birth of my daughter in November of 2017 - exactly what I needed!  She was open and completely no judgemental of any wishes I had and did her best to educate me of my options while allowing my husband and I to decide what was best for us.  She was personable and very easy to get along with.

My plan for birth was to do so naturally, and while the time came when I was in labor where I questioned my plan and wanted an epidural, Rebecca stood by me, strong and reassuring and I was able to push through and proceed without one.  I can honeslty say that I could have not done it without her there by my side caoching me through it and offering encouraging words the whole time.  She also had many tricks up her sleeve to increase comfort during labor that I would have otherwise not had the oportunity to try - various positions, walking around, and using a warm bath just to name a few.

I highly recommend Rebecca!

My experience with Rebecca was extraordinary. I received her services for my second child. I did not have a doula with my first one and I wanted to have more emotional support during my journey and my delivery. I immediately liked Rebecca when I met her and it was so obvious to me that she loved her job and she was very passionate about it. She was immensely supportive during the last weeks of pregnancy, and was always available, with love and compassion. She met my family and was a great team with my husband during labor, she was very supportive and warm. She was available at any time and was there for us. During labor she offered great wisdom, love and emotional support, it was great to have her. I felt so grateful to have such support and love during labor. I strongly recommend her services and support during your labor, it makes a big difference to have a doula in your journey, especially if you have Rebecca in your life.
