My husband and I cannot recommend Gabby enough! We decided to hire a doula because we wanted a completely natural birth and the hospital we went to had a 90% epidural rate and the childbirth class we attended at the hospital seemed a promotion of all the interventions they might "have to use," none of which we wanted. Gabby was a totally positive and encouraging influence prior to  and during our birth. She helped educate us on some additional procedures that might take place during a birth and helped us develop a birth plan that addressed these. She also attended an OB appointment with me to talk the birth plan over with the doctor and that was helpful as well. During the days leading up to my due date, and every day after (our little man arrived 3 days late) Gabby reached out to me every day to check on me and see how I was doing and gave me advice on what I could do to feel more comfortable in my very pregnant state.

When I went into labor, Gabby came to my house and gave me advice on comfort measures and different positions I could use. When we got to the hospital she remained an advocate with our nurses and doctors and spent most of my labor holding my hand, literally holding me up, and helping me find different positions to progress my labor.

Gabby is the sweetest person and was an amazing doula. In addition to being a huge support for me, I know she helped ease the pressure from my husband during our labor, and we are so glad she helped bring our little man in to this world!

Where do I begin....Gabby was truly a God send. I found out I was pregnant in June. I met Gabby in December.  As soon as we met I went back and told my partner how awesome she was.  She has yhe sweetest spirit.  Very upbeat, kind, loving, knowledgeable, and real.  You dont meet these type of people everyday.  He was just happy that I was excited about her.  After our first meeting I went home and went to work deciding how I wanted this birth to go. For our next appointment my partner came with me, he not knowing what to expect walked in with very reserved feelings. When we left he admitted that he was super excited about having her as our doula as well.  She was exactly how I decribed her to be and he felt comfortable about this birthing experience for me.  From that day Gabby constantly checked on me making sure I was ok and helped to keep me grounded.  The day I went into labor she showed up "game ready"  she was well prepared with all the things we had previously discussed.  With my partner and Gabby helping thru the birth of my beautiful baby boy it was such a rewarding experience.  My expectations werr beyond filled.  Gabby is genuinely a wondeful person. I have a special wonderful friend for life from this birthing experience.  Thank you so much Gabby, I couldn't imagine going thru my experience without you.
