Where do I begin? Jessica Miller is a talented and knowledgeable Doula who is passionate about mothers during labor, as well as breastfeeding and natural births. Jessica was able to fulfill our needs and then some. She was always available to answer questions, very resourceful, and made us feel comfortable the entire journey even with COVID. During labor, Jessica communicated my needs effectively as well as communicated with me the needs of the baby as time progressed with labor. When Mayson came out, she helped me fulfill the need to breastfeed by showing me exactly what to do. The support did NOT stop and has not stopped at just birth. She has been over to check on me at home as well as checking in with my mental health, breastfeeding journey, and general concerns as we are new parents.

I highly recommend Jessica if you're looking for a Doula who is personable, knowledgeable, and for the MOM (and baby of course). Not to mention a personal rockstar! I truly appreciate you, Jessica, for making such a beautiful moment perfect. I can't say thank you enough.

Hello, my name is Megan. I have 3 little boys that are my whole world. Jessica is my childhood friend/sister of the heart.  Jessica was also my doula in heart for my 2nd childs delivery as he was breech and my water had broken naturally at home, I had a non-emergent c-section and only my husband was able to be present. A little over a year later I became pregnant with our third child. Jessica agreed to be my doula again because I already knew that I wanted to have a VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarian). Jessica encouraged me to look into seeing a mid-wife and I agreed as they are more open minded on how a natural birth process looks like and should be. I was due on February 18th (which was a Saturday) and was scheduled to go in on Monday February 20th to be induced. My water broke at 3AM Sunday morning, February 19th. I called Jessica and she met us at the hospital. She stayed with me the whole time, helped me stay active and walking. My labor stalled a little bit but then picked back up in the afternoon after a whole lot of walking and started getting pitocin. After I got to a certain point in labor, I was able to get into the tub and relax in the hot water (as much as you can when you're having contractions) which helped me progress quicker. Another thing I loved about having a mid-wife is that Shannon didn't pressure me to keep getting 'progress checks' and let me go on my own safely and I didn't have a room full of doctors staring at me. I felt respected and protected by the two women and my husband, we had this.  That evening I pushed my little baby out in 3 pushes and caught him myself! My experience with Jessica was so much better than with my first child. I would change nothing about how it happened. I highly recommend her, and her compassionate nature was such a help for us during this time. If you are expecting, get in touch with her right away and make sure your hopes and dreams of the perfect/safe labor and delivery become reality!

Jessica is a wonderful doula!  She provided so much support and encouragement every step of the way.  When my husband and I met with her prenatally, she helped put us at ease immediately.  She explained everything clearly, answered all of our questions, and loaned us a book that was very helpful.  During labor and delivery, she was very attentive and worked hard to help maintain a calm environment.  She showed me different positions, gave me back rubs to help make me more comfortable, and also showed my husband how he could support me.  When complications came up, she made sure that my huband and I understood what was happening.  I was able to make it through delivery without an epidural because of her support.  Jessica was also a tremendous help when issues came up with breastfeeding, after we were home.  She went above and beyond and made a visit late at night and helped us get the baby latched back on and keep our sanity.  I would recommend Jessica as a doula to anyone having a baby!

Jessica is excellent! i met with her for an interview to see if we would click, and boy did we ever:) She is very knowledgeable about being a doula and the support a new mom will need! She was available at anytime with questions or just feedback I would need from how I was feeling and getting my body ready for my little one to come. We had a birth plan, but of course things had to changed when I was admitted and then induced for preeclampsia:( Jessica was so supportive and loving to me and my family. She spent the whole day with me while things started to advance, she helped my mind and body and soul during that time! Jessica was so supportive of our decisions, and helped with oils and scents and back rubs- and did I say back rubs back rubs and more back rubs:) She helped me emotionally during birth and especially afterwords also! I came home and had so many issues with nursing, she came more than once to check up and answer my questions! I have recommended her, and will continue too!

For my second birth I wanted a more natural approach and decided to seek out a doula. Jessica offered her service to me and I could not be more happy with her performance or my birth experience. She was very in tune to me and always encouraging me to listen to my body while providing a relaxing environment. I gave birth to a perfect little girl all naturally with the help of Jessica and it was amazing. She even helped me with my latching techniques during breastfeeding and even went as far as taking home my placenta to be encapsulated by another party. She was informative and supportive while I wrote my birth plan and was always available when I had questions or concerns. Having Jessica as my doula really made my birth experience that much more enjoyable and I would recommend her to anyone in the search for a doula. She is amazing!
