Alicia is an incredible doula. She listened to our birth plan hopes and dreams and just increased our comfort and confidence from the start. Having Alicia to bounce ideas off of or to go to for recommendations proved very fruitful for finding the body care support I needed when I had a late pregnancy back issue. My favorite thing about Alicia’s recommendations is that she isn’t just sending us to who does great work, but she takes care to send us to people who are a good fit for us personally. When we had late changes to our birth plan, Alicia was not only supportive but also gave us confidence in our new plan because she has knowledge and experience to share.

One of my favorite memories from our birth was seeing Alicia tending to my partner. In between contractions, she checked in to make sure he had what he needed to support me and to be present. I had expressed my concern over my habit of needing to feel like I need to take care of everyone in the room and Alicia anticipated that and helped mitigate it.

Birthing was an incredible experience and I was so very happy Alicia was a part of our team. I look forward to having her support the next time we birth.
