Kahla was exceptional in all aspects. She was very well informed about newborn needs, breastfeeding techniques, growing paterns or any other crucial tips for first time parents like us. Although she was coming every other day she was still contacting us everyday to make sure that averything was going ok and resolving any questions we might have.

The first day she brought many useful samples regarding baby products so we had the opportunity to discuss these with her and try some of them before purchase it. She even brought a beatiful baby bodysuit with her How to Mama comercial brand that we loved it.

She is very calm and takes time to explain you everything and baby loved her too! She has an special touch for babies you will see.

We would really recommend her to everyone that is considering having postpartum doula services. We are certain that it will be the right decision.

I had no idea what I was in for going from having only one children to having a toddler and an infant. After a little scare and a few day hospital visit in the NICU, I was completely overwhelmed and my husband was about to go back to work. Kahla was able to give me some peace of mind and help me with my transition from one to two. She provided me with advice and tips for caring for two children, personal testimonials, advice and tips on breastfeeding, both physical and emotional recovery from childbirth, and helped with tasks around the house. She even cooked me dinner a few days when my days had been long and hectic. Kahla answered all of my many questions and helped me to feel comfortable and confident caring for my two little ones. I would recommend her to anyone especially those who could use some extra support while entering the different phases of motherhood!

Kahla served as a post-partum doula for us after the birth of our third child. I was on bed rest, and Kahla's support was essential to my recovery. She was a beacon of calm in our busy household! As the mother of four kids, Kahla has lots of knowledge, resources and personal experience related to pregnancy, birth and parenting. She fulfilled many needs in a warm, professional manner--helping me care for the baby and our older kids, keeping me fed and hydrated, taking care of light tasks around our house, and making sure I was resting as much as possible and staying off my feet. Having her here gave my husband peace of mind. Kahla checked in with me regularly between visits and still checks in from time to time. I enjoyed her company, too. She took a genuine interest in my experience, shared her own, and provided helpful suggestions without ever being overbearing. I would recommend her to any family navigating the waters of post-partum life!

Do yourself (and family) a favor- hire a Kahla! Our 1st night with Kahla and we: talked and processed my birth story, went through my breastfeeding challenges, she made and cleaned up dinner, did the dishes, folded a mountain of laundry, helped with bath time with both girls, held my baby while I ate and finished up my oldest daughters bath, changed diapers and entertained big sister.

I am so blessed to have had Kahla for a month and 1/2. She came 2-3 days a week so me and family could adjust from being a family of 3 to 4. With my 1st daughter I experienced terrible postpartum anxiety, a a lot of which I blame having limited support. I have not experienced any of the same symptoms the postpartum. I know Kahla and her support have so much to do with that.

Kahla helped with hands on task in our home such as laundry and light meal prep, but she also provided tons of information for my breastfeeding and postpartum challenges. If she didn't have an answer for me right then and there, she came to our next session with one.

You can think of a million reasons why not to spend the money or where the money can go- but your postpartum will be better because Kahla's support. My family considers Kahla part of the family now and will always be so appreciative of the support she provided during those 1st crucial weeks.
