Theresa is AMAZING!!!! I was struggling a lot after the birth of my daughter 8 years ago and my in laws all chipped in for her to spend a few days with me. I was better in one 3 hour visit with Theresa. She is so calming. I never felt more unprepared for anything as I did when both my babies came home for the first time. Even though I read every book, took every class and researched every purchase, I just felt so overwhelmed. Theresa taught me so much and then, helped me find the confidence in myself to get through it on my own. I wasn’t sure if I would need her for my second but I’m so glad we had her! She has so many great ideas (infant massage was a lifesaver in the beginning) and so much experience to share! Everyone can benefit from having someone like her around! She is amazing with babies, but was also amazing to talk to about balancing everything, what to do with visitors in those early times, how to include older siblings and really just about anything. She is great with responding to texts and emails as well. I recommend Theresa to everyone!!!! She is kind, loving, intelligent, caring, experienced and she would be a good match for anyone I know!

Theresa is extremely caring, knowledgeable, supportive, and encouraging. These attributes make her the perfect doula. I really didn't anticipate how much I would actually need her! She eased my worries and held my hand through the challenges of having a breastfed newborn. I look back now and realize how grateful I am for all of her guidance, motivation, and perspective she provided for us. She is a wealth of knowledge, is so patient, kind, and was always there for me when I needed her most. No question was too small and I felt I could go to her with anything. My son flourished under her guidance. She not only helped me with breastfeeding but also with sleep training which I am so thankful for, especially now! She made me feel understood and was able to put into words how I was feeling. She understood what we were going through as first time parents and it helped relieve a lot of the uneasiness you can feel at times. She is so nurturing and I felt like she treated our son as she would treat her own. Anyone would be more than lucky to have her as their doula!

My husband and I hired Theresa before the birth of our first child. I really wanted a postpartum doula, husband was on the fence, that all changed when we met Theresa. She came over on a day towards the end of our pregnancy, when my hormones and stress where high, and our house was under construction, so you can imagine my mental state. She came into our house that day like she came into our lives, a stranger at first, then instantly, family. Her warmth and kindness just radiated out of her in such a sincere and relatable way. She brought with her such expertise, strength and calm, and every time she came into our home those feelings just washed over us all. We didn’t realize how much we would need her, we didn’t know how rough my labor would be, or that our beautiful little girl would have such colic, I didn’t know how unprepared I would feel, I didn’t know I would feel so scared and nervous. Theresa was there, time and again, in person, on text and emails. She didn’t just level our concerns, or placate our nerves; she brought joy in a stressful time. She reminded us to take pictures and to laugh, and taught us how to enjoy our baby through the challenges. We thought we were hiring Theresa to teach us how to bathe our newborn, to help me with breastfeeding, occasionally help me around the house and general newborn care, she did those things of course, but what she really did, was help us navigate a new life, while still reminding us to keep up our old one. There isn’t a day that goes by where I am not grateful for Theresa, I cannot imagine those first months without her and when it comes time for us to have another baby, I look forward to the days she comes over, walks in so casually, loving picks up our new baby and just cares for her as if she were her own. I cannot express how highly I recommend Theresa, weather it’s your first baby or your fifth, she always finds a way to help you, just the way you need it most.

We were a bit nervous about becoming first time parents, so a friend suggested we hire a doula. I looked on the internet, and found Theresa. She came over for an interview, showed me her credentials, and I even called one of her references. We hired her immediately, and it was the best thing we ever did! When we brought our baby home, we honestly had no idea what to do and it was overwhelming and scary. Theresa came over the next day and filled us in on a few beginner tips. After she started working with us, our little guy just blossomed. He made so many gains and we learned so many things, and I can honestly say it was because Theresa guided us and helped us through. If you are thinking about hiring her, definitely go for it! I was teasing her that I hope nobody else hires her because I want her all for myself! Our little guy is delighted by her and smiles every time he sees her! He knows that this is the lady who helped him through all his beginnings in life.  Theresa is always available, too. There were plenty of times I had to text her to ask her questions, and she would respond to me, on weekdays, weeknights, even weekends. It may be expensive, but I assure you it is an investment, and it is worth every penny. We love Theresa and we are sad our days are limited with her since our little man is already 5 months old! I promise you that you will not regret hiring Theresa. She is absolutely fabulous.

I cannot say enough about Theresa. Involving her as our doula was the best decision we made in terns of caring for our family in the early weeks of our first child's birth. Theresa's care and support of our family made all the difference in the world. She helped us with our son, with my c-section recovery, taught us many important baby basics and provided family/household support that allowed us to enjoy those amazing weeks and take care of our son. Theresa is kind, caring, very knowledgeable, very alert and aware (always anticipated our needs), and most of all was just a pleasure to have in our lives at this special time. She was sensitive to our needs, being sure to respond to our priorities and concerns; finding out how we wanted to approach our new family routine and not just simply telling us how it should be done. In addition to her amazing skills as a doula, Theresa is a lactation counselor. This was a huge help - with Theresa so closely involved, she was able to provide a great deal of lactation support, teaching baby and me about good nursing techniques, helping us develop a routine, and make a plan for pumping and returning to work. I'm not sure how long I would have persisted if it weren't for Theresa's support. Finally, Theresa was (and is) very available to answer questions even after she was done working with us as a doula. I highly recommend Theresa as a post-partum doula.

Theresa is such a wonderful asset to have in your home after the birth of your baby.  I have been lucky enough to have her with my son 4 years ago and just recently with my daughter during this past summer.  She is truly a breath of fresh air at a time that can be very stressful and exhausting.

Theresa is absolutely wonderful with babies and children.  She is knowledgeable in so many aspects and provides you with useful information, techniques, a sounding board. someone to lean on...and does it all with such a loving and caring personality.  She is fully committed and devoted to all members of the family she is working with and consistently makes herself available for further follow-up and support after her services are no longer needed.

I could not recommend her more!!!!!!
