We hired Angie for the birth of our first child. She was such a calming source of support as we were going through something so life-changing for the first time. She told us what to expect, was calm and knowledgeable and had a lot of different techniques to offer during labour to make things more comfortable. Though I had an epudiral, Angie was still a great help during the whole process. She knew when to step in and when to give my partner and I privacy and picked up on little things I might not have noticed in the rush of everything to help make things smoother.

Going in to something that felt so unkown, it was invaluable to have someone as kind as Angie in the room. She also had great rapport with the nurses and staff at the hospital which in turn make us feel more comfortable. I only wish I could have seen her more postportum!

Angie is such an amazing doula and a wonderful person! I knew from the beginning that I wanted to hire her because she was very thorough and detail-oriented whenever she responded to my questions. From the first time I reached out to her and throughout my pregnancy and postpartum, she connected me to a ton of resources including Hypnobirthing, which really helped me and my husband immensely in preparation for and during labour.

Long story short, I learned so much from Angie and it was because of her that I was able to overcome my pregnancy anxiety and fear of labour! In fact, my husband and I felt so prepared that we switched from a planned hospital birth to a home birth just a month before my due date.

If we have a second child in the future, I would hire Angie again in a heartbeat! :)

We were so lucky to find Angie! Not only is she the most kind and patient person she’s also so knowledgeable. She’s a trained in the Spinning Babies technique which was very helpful as my baby was posterior. I felt very comfortable with her. She was great at checking in with us before and after the birth and really making us feel supported. She was sure to include my partner showing him lots of exercises and massages that he could do to help me get through the labor. She was a great help post pardum as well helping us with breastfeeding and sleep tips ands showed us how to use the tricky wrap carrier. We truly could not have done it without her!

My husband and I met Angie two weeks prior to when I went into labour; I delivered a little over a month early. Angie was an angel, she was a wealth of information and extremely supportive and attentive. I can not imagine having been in labour without Angie present, she anticipated all my needs before I even knew what I needed and was a great addition to my medical team present during birth. Angie also has a ton of knowledge about pain management techniques as well as post partum needs for a new mom. My birth experience was a magical one and I believe that Angie had a huge hand in making sure that happened!

As a first-time mom to be and a trained doula, I knew I wanted to have a doula at the delivery for two reasons. First, I wanted to know what it feels like to be supported by a doula during labor, having supported several women myself. Second, I wanted my husband to feel less pressure on him and be able to enjoy the whole experience as a dad.
When we met her, we felt like we had known her for a long time and very quickly the meeting turned into a friendly conversation. As an experienced doula and a mother of four, she reassured us about how helpful and supportive she could be. After deciding to work with her, she made two visits to our house both of which were very informative and helped us ease our minds about many issues of delivery as well as life with newborn. When labor started she was the first person I contacted and then totally relied on her guidance. The labor picked up very quickly and although I had all the knowledge on birth, I was confused and anxious since I wasn't expecting it to happen so fast. After letting her know the course of contractions, she gave me a few instructions in such calm manner and reached our house rapidly. I was already having very strong contractions and starting to feel the urge to push when she walked into the room and started working with me through every second of the process without letting my hand go. Also just by observing my status, she knew it was time to call the midwives as soon as possible and guided my husband to call them without alarming us. She worked great with my midwives as well and I felt confident although the labor turned into an unplanned home birth. She never left my side until after the delivery when she went into the kitchen to grab me breakfast which she personally fed me. I can never thank her enough for being such loving support as if she was family and being part of our journey. If I ever decide to have another baby, I know I will want to have Angie by my side once again!

When my wife asked me if I would be interested in hiring a Doula, I wasn’t entirely sure who that was. When she said we may need some extra support for planning beforehand and attaining education involved in having a newborn, I was sceptical about the help because we attended prenatal classes, we have a lot of family close by, and I believed we could handle it on our own. So, I was wondering why we should spend the money – money we would surely need to save for our newborn. I agreed, at least, to meet with Angie and see what services she offered and try to understand why we needed her. Immediately, my wife and I were both drawn to her calm demeanour, light-hearted humour, and gentle personality. I loved that she was interested in giving us useful information and she was clearly passionate about her role, but never pressured us to commit to her services. We made the best decision, which was to hire Angie and take advantage of her vast and up-to-date knowledge, her visits, her strategies, as well as her approachability to text her anytime we needed. My wife experienced some challenges towards the end of pregnancy like gestational diabetes and cholestasis, and Angie provided us with information to help us deal with those obstacles as well as questions for us to ask our OB. And, from a husband’s point of view, I never felt like she was overstepping and trying to bump me out of my own experience of becoming a new father. During the labour, Angie was always right there for support – whether it was to get my wife some water or taking her through the exercises she had taught us previously. All I can say is that you won’t be disappointed in her services, only the fact that her services eventually come to an end - unless you have more kids.

Pregnancy didnt come easy for us. I had reached out to Angie my first pregnancy and sadly it didnt last. When I had informed her that my pregnancy had ended she was just so kind. A perfect stranger wrote me a text that warmed my heart and encouraged me to continue trying and from there I knew when it was time, she was my lady. She even checked in on me months after that. What perfect stranger does this? Angie does and that is a small insight to the amazing woman she is.

When we finally met Angie for the first time, we knew instantly that she was the perfect support source we needed to get through the most life changing experience. Her calmness,  charismatic approach and her eagerness to make sure you are informed about all your options and scenarios was something that made me feel so confident in something I knew nothing about. During our visits, she coached my husband in all different ways to support me. Introduced us to 3 Sisters of Balance, rebozo sifting, and my personal favourite, the forward leaning inversion and sidelying release. He was so happy to be able to do something to help me on hard days when my body was aching and for me, it helped so much having him able to do these things to help release some pain and tension especially at the end of my pregnancy.

The labour – She was AMAZING. She was present and just so unbelievably supportive. She kept us calm, explained things and helped me through every single contraction. Once the baby was born, all I could say was “I cannot believe how calm I was” and that was the most amazing thing to me.  Her visit and sweet simple texts just to check in after the baby was home warmed my heart every single time. She continues to encourage me and remind me I am doing a great job as a mumma. We are forever grateful and love you Angie, you have such a special place in our hearts. Its becuase of you that I had such a positive birth experice. Thank you!

I truly don't even know where to begin. I also don't think this tiny box has enough space for me to express how much I highly recommend Angie. But here it goes....
Angie has been nothing short of amazing during this entire process. Her knowledge, quick response time, caring/loving nature, made for this first time mom to be so at ease. I immediately felt a connection to Angie and so did my husband from day one. Having her with me during the delivery was exactly what I needed. She was an incredible support to me of course but also to my mom and husband who were with me during the birth.
Angie thank you from the bottom my heart for all your support, before, during and since the birth of my son. Forever grateful

Doula Angie was AMAZING! From day one she not only brought a sense of calm and comfort to the pregnancy and birthing experience, but she also felt like family. Being the husband and first time dad, you feel unprepared and unsure what to do. No amount of books or youtube videos would provide the knowledge and experience that Angie brings. With her hands on appoarch and being accessible anytime, she was critical in helping us feel comfortable in and out of the hospital. At the hospital, she helped keep my wife and I calm and provided the one-on-one service you need that you wouldn't typically get in a busy hospital environment. Could not recommend her more and we tell all our friends to get a Doula now! Thanks Angie!

Angie was incredible to have during our pregnancy and labour. She is very passionate about what she does, which we could feel immediately when we met her, and she made us feel comfortable (both physically and emotionally!) with the whole process from start to finish. Having her around made a world of difference, and I will definitely call her back when we have the second child.

While my wife has already left a review for Doula Angie, I’d like to add a few extra words from a husband’s perspective.

From our first ‘meet and greet’ with Doula Angie, I knew my wife and I were in great company! We were only a few months away from the delivery date at that time and were still attempting to figure out what to even expect. Whereas we had initially felt overwhelmed by books, online articles, statistics, and anecdotes, Angie brought a grounded approach to childbirth that was so welcomed. There was genuine excitement and comfort in what she had to tell us, making the decision to hire her extremely easy shortly after. Bringing in someone with genuine expertise to our two-person team meant so much to me as a soon-to-be dad since I actually started to get clear instructions on what my duties were throughout the entire process – something that most literature doesn’t tend to touch on.

The knowledge we gained in the weeks and days leading up to labour from Angie was so valuable. In particular, the ‘3 sisters of balance’ exercises made my wife feel more comfortable and actually moved our baby into a better position while in utero. Fair warning to husbands, these will give your arms a workout!

Once active labour was underway, Angie was there with us until the end. Personally, the relief I felt when she walked into our home and took over some of the physical and mental help brought my own stress levels down by half! She helped us navigate the transition from home to the hospital and virtually everything that followed. I simply can’t say enough positive comments about Angie’s support during that day, she helped turn any potentially scary or worrying aspect of it into a grounded and positive stepping stone towards meeting our little one.

My husband and I toyed with the idea of working with a doula at the beginning of our pregnancy but we struggled to find the “right” doula that aided in empowering us and giving us the knowledge to feel more in control. It wasn’t until I was 8 months pregnant that the stars aligned and we were connected to Angie from a mutual friend. We had our first meeting and instantly my husband and I felt comforted by her warm demeanour. She was incredibly knowledgeable and her passion for her work radiated throughout every conversation piece.

Angie provided 24/7 care during my pregnancy by answering my questions and concerns that came to mind. She effortlessly flooded me with information that eased my fears, peppered in humour, taught me the ‘three sisters of balance’ and more importantly, she made me feel safe.

Labour and delivery was no different, always checking in and being only a text or phone call away until it was GO time! My labour was long and it had a lot of unexpected hiccups. Angie stayed with my husband and I, literally holding my hand at some points to help get me through the tough times. There were so many “experts” with the same end goal of healthy Mum and Baby but Angie was the one who took the time to ensure that every decision, choice, and outlook was one that was made by myself and my husband in the most positive and encouraging way.

Postpartum care was also fantastic with Angie. Her check-in messages and her in person visit, which really was an invigorating chat about everything and anything throughout the experience was a helpful and much welcomed piece when we brought our little one home.

Angie, Chris and I feel so lucky to have worked with you as we know this entire experience would have been a completely different one without you. We are confident that you will continue to make everlasting imprints on the hearts of so many more couples and families.

- Candice.

We are so glad that we were able to have Angie as our doula throughout pregnancy. Angie was always available to be reached, and went above and beyond to answer my questions - sending me helpful info and links to useful sites or products. Angie kept in touch and checked in often, which calmed my anxiety and provided reassurance. She was an amazing doula during my labour, staying close and providing great support with her techniques to manage pain. She seemed to know exactly what to do and when to do it, keeping me comfortably in my birthing zone. Her calm presence helped me to have the most amazing birthing experience I could have asked for. Angie definitely showed my husband how helpful a doula truly is. We are both so glad that we decided to work with her and after seeing how knowledgable, helpful, professional, and caring she is, I would definitely recommend her assistance. Thank you so much Angie!

I was a high risk pregnancy and required a lot of support during my pregnancy. Angie gave me piece of mind by providing me with daily support, her knowledge and an abundance of literature she provided for me to read to feel informed throughout my pregnancy. Her calm and caring nature exceeded my expectations, and her presence in the OR during my cesarean birth birth made a stressful situation for me feel calm and perfect. Angie was by far the best decision we made for our birth journey.

If there is any question in your mind as to whether you should hire doula Angie, we have one thing to say: hire her right now!!!
We can’t say enough wonderful things about Angie and our experience with her!!! She is an absolute professional, knowledgeable expert, and a genuinely kind and caring person.
Having Angie around for the birth of our little girl was so helpful and we would do it again in a heartbeat!
We wanted to hire a doula because this was our first child and we wanted someone there to support both myself and my husband. Angie was incredible and it made the entire labour experience and the weeks leading up to it much better for us. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable and smart about resources, tools and techniques to assist you with your labour, she is warm, kind and genuine. Knowing we were in her competent hands allowed us to relax and enjoy our labour.
Angie gave us a lot of reading material. I was so impressed by the fact that if I had a question, she would take it upon herself to research things and email me with resources or bring them to a session. She was very hands-on with us, teaching both myself and my partner stretches and other positioning techniques to help in pregnancy, preparing for labour, and during labour. I loved having her there during labour. She showed up with energy and a calming presence. I was definitely more calm, and I am 100% positive my labour went more smoothly and quickly because of Angie. My partner loved that she was respectful of him and his experience and always considered the man’s perspective. Finally, she was absolutely amazing at taking the labour photos and videos, and writing our little daughter’s birth story. They really are memories to treasure. Thank you again, Angie, for giving us such help to have a very special experience!!

Both my husband and I are first time parents and Angie made our overwhelming labour experience such a positive and empowering one. She is an amazing doula. Not only she was extremely professional and highly knowledgeable about the birth process, she worked flawlessly as an integral member of our interprofessional obstetric team.

My husband - who is a health professional - did not know a lot about doulas’ scope of practice. He really appreciated the experience of learning about how moms can be supported both emotionally and practically before, during and after birth while receiving the continuous care that doulas provide. I myself was rather nervous and frustrated as our baby was late. Even hours leading up to our induction, she was on call via text/call. She always replied right away with appropriate guidance and suggestions (she would thoroughly do her research backed up by scientific evidence before giving any advice). When I went into labour, she came to us right away.

During the birth of our son, she was an excellent coach for both my husband and I; she was supporting my husband instead of taking over his role - but also letting him rest when he got tired and overwhelmed. She never stepped out of her professional boundary and somehow knew how to help me during labour without me telling her explicitly what I needed (she just knew). Even after our baby was born, she stayed with us at the hospital until we settled in and made sure that we had everything we needed.

In short, we highly recommend her to any expectant mom, especially if you are a first time mom! You will not be disappointed :)

My heart bursts with so much gratitude every time my mind is reminded of my birthing experience. Angie came highly recommended by Lori of The Womb Milton and from our first meeting with her, my husband and I knew we not only wanted a doula, but that we wanted her. She was the perfect mix of having a wealth of knowledge and first-hand experience on maternal and baby support and also having the calm and compassionate demeanor to make birthing such an empowering journey.  In other words, she both have the mind and heart that makes a great doula.

Being pregnant for 41 weeks and 3 days (to our 2nd child), I had to be induced at MDH in December 2017.  I had a difficult labor and a challenging pre-delivery situation which almost resulted in Csection but having Angie by our side most definitely was the game changer for me.  Throughout the entire process, I felt very much taken care of and supported by her that I was able to focus on maintaing calmness amidst the contractions.  She even brought her TENS tool that made the world of difference in managing my labor pains. Looking back, I cannot imagine having gone through my birth experience as peacefully and beautifully as I had without her guidance and presence.

She was equally reassuring in the weeks after I gave birth.  She saved my sanity at least twice when I felt my milk was taking too long to come out and also when my baby suddenly became too fussy due to growth spurt.  Due to her knowledge, she expertly provided tips or  on how to get through those difficult nights and referred us to specialists when needed but more importantly, she calmed our worries and bolstered our confidence that we’ve got this parenting thing covered. She was our No. 1 cheerleader.

Angie, you are heaven-sent. Thank you for doing what you do. My wish is that more families get the pleasure and blessing of having you as part of their birthing journey.

Our baby was born in January 2018 at the hospital in Toronto. It's my second pregnancy but we had some concerns that my son was still small and our family lived far away from us. That's why we decided to hire a doula.
All her care is warm and polite and proper during pregnancy, at the birth and after. I think that without her we couldn't accomplish this birth satisfactorily.
Even if it's not the first pregnancy, Angie's support will be helpful and make the family feel relieved. She must be a sympathetic supporter.
Our appreciation is beyond my word. I'm very very happy to meet doula Angie!

My daughter was born in November 2017 at Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga. Angie was my doula. I can't say enough about how helpful she was throughout my pregnancy!

I honestly don’t know what I would have done without Angie. I will definitely want her by my side for my next one! She is SO knowledgeable, not to mention KIND, CARING, AND COMPASSIONATE!

I was 5 months pregnant when we met with Angie after meeting 2-3 other doula’s. I really wanted my husband’s input as they needed to work as a cohesive team on birthing day. Luckily, Angie was his first choice…and mine! We felt an instant connection with her, and very sincere and genuine vibes, not to mention confidence in her abilities.

I wanted to try for a natural birth without an epidural or other interventions where possible. Angie was very supportive of my wishes and great in guiding me there and and to keep an open mind. I did ultimately get my natural birth with all her support. She came bearing everything I could possibly need to get through my contractions and labor at home for as long as possible (another birth wish of mine). Our transition to the hospital from our home with Angie was extremely smooth.

Not only was I happy with how the birth process went, Angie was so dependable throughout my pregnancy. Whenever I had a question or concern she always got back to me in a timely manner and with a thorough response. She left me feeling well informed and at ease.

After my daughters  birth, Angie did her post-natal formal check in with us and  baby, but also was so gracioisly available to me via text and phone if I had any baby related concerns in the first few weeks. This support was invaluable! She helped me through some rough nights and was always so kind and sincere.

Angie possesses three key traits that were vital for us: Dependable, Knowledgeable, and Uplifting/Positive.

Working with Angie during my pregnancy and for my son’s birth was an incredible and invaluable experience - I couldn’t have imagined the birth without her there! Her support, kindness, reassurance and knowledge truly made me feel at ease, especially as this was my first pregnancy.

Angie was incredible at explaining everything to me (what to expect, what could happen, standard hospital procedures) and providing us with options during pregnancy and the labour, which helped us make our birth plan and determine what was best for our family. She was a key member of our birth team providing pain relief, recommendations, encouragement, a hand to hold (literally) and words of wisdom from another mama that has already been through it. She also guided my breathing and had my husband right there with me working through each contraction!

I was also incredibly grateful to have her support and check-ins post-partum – especially to answer all of my “is this normal” questions, and to reassure me that I was doing a great job. This definitely helped getting through those tough first couple of weeks post-partum.
She was truly a support for not only myself, but my husband as well throughout my pregnancy, labour and post-partum period. Angie is truly gifted at what she does and I can’t thank her enough for the support she provided our family.

We thought about hiring a Doula because we have no family around to help out and we needed some backup support. We found Angie and she was amazing with us, she was always reachable anytime of the day, she was flexible to adjust her services to our needs. And when the time came it was the middle of the night when I called her, we talked over the phone for a while, she suggested a few things to do while the contractions build up just to be sure. Then she came to meet us at the hospital and stand side by side with us, explaining everything that was happening, probing to see if we had any questions to ask the doctors always giving us alternatives to the medical procedures if we wanted to. She stand by my side while pushing and did an amazing coverage of the moment!! We are so thankful for having Angie at this moment of our lives! 100% recommend for additional piece of mind! Just sit back and enjoy your ride!!

I can’t imagine having a baby without Angie. While she was incredibly important for my wife, she was essential for me. My wife had a high-risk pregnancy which meant a difficult labor and delivery, and I didn’t know what to expect or what was “normal” in our situation. Having Angie there felt as though I had someone on my side the entire time who could not only explain things to me but reassure me every step of the way. I did the classes and I read about what labor and delivery should be like, so I was very prepared – but when it came down to it nothing could have prepared me which made Angie vital. Angie was knowledgeable about every medical issue and step along the way, so when anything came up she helped me understand them and assess how they fit into our birth plan. In the delivery room she put me at ease which meant I could support my wife and my newborn twins.
Following the birth of our twins, Angie has provided support and resources which have proved invaluable. She also provided us with a wonderful “Birth Story” complete with pictures, which my wife and I will love reading and looking at for the rest of our lives.
Angie meant a lot for my wife, but she was definitely very important for me as well. I couldn’t have imagined anyone else being with us as our Doula.

We did not decide to have a doula until quite late in my pregnancy; I was just a few weeks away from my due date when we met Angie and we are so glad we did! We first spoke to her at a workshop at the WOMB in Milton, and she really made an impression on us with her gentle demeanor and evidence-based approach. She took us on despite the lateness in my pregnancy, and despite our financial limitations - Angie really believes that everyone who wants a doula should be able to access one, and she worked with us to find a package that would suit our needs. She even ended up gifting us with a birth story and photos that were not included in our package, just because she wanted to. She was so flexible in condensing our meetings in order to make everything happen that needed to, in the time we had left. We had our prenatal session just a day and a half before I went into labour!

I had a particularly long and arduous birth; over a day and a half, with back labour and baby in a difficult position. I laboured at home for many hours with Angie's support, according to my birth plan. The birth was so long that we went to the hospital, and went through multiple shift changes in midwives and doctors, but Angie remained there throughout it all. Having a consistent support person in that hectic environment made an enormous difference in how calm and capable I felt. I suffer from anxiety, so I have no doubt that having her there, talking me through unexpected and scary developments, made an incredible difference in how well I coped during the birth, as well as my lasting feelings looking back on it. I know that I am much more at peace with how the birth went than I would have been without Angie, and she did so much to assuage my worries and feelings of sadness about not being able to have the experience I wanted. Her support helped immensely in getting me to a positive mindset about this birth and any future pregnancies. Very thankful for Angie!

Hiring a doula was actually my husband’s idea, as I really couldn’t completely understand how someone who was basically a stranger could help me during my labor and delivery. After having my babies, I can’t imagine NOT having Angie with me.

It’s truly difficult for me to express how important Angie was for me. I know that without her with me during the labor and birth of my twins, I wouldn’t have been able to deliver them as I did. My pregnancy was high-risk and their birth was therefore not as straightforward, but with her with me I was able to have my babies the way that I wanted to. She was the most wonderful, calming, helpful, reassuring, supportive, and understanding person on the day of their birth. I know that without her there everything would have gone much differently.

Leading-up to the birth of my twins Angie was always checking-in and eager to offer support. Since their birth she has been truly a lifesaver with the resources, support, and advice she’s offered. I don’t know what I would have done without Angie.

Me and my husband are so thankful we met Angie. Angie is simply special.

We are so grateful for the love and support we received from Angie prenatally, during labour and delivery, and post partum. In the months and weeks leading up to our baby's birth, she was amazingly supportive and always available if we had questions. She checked in with us frequently and was a great source of information and preparation for birth. She arrived quickly during labour and was an amazing source of strength and comfort during our home birth. Her calming presence and labour toolkit was so appreciated during a very short but intense home birth. She also looked after our toddler during the final moments of delivery, while simultaneously managing to capture the most precious moments on video. She stayed with us post partum to ensure we were settled and checked in often. Shortly after the birth, she presented us with our beautiful birth story, as well as all the videos and pictures. We would highly recommend Angie's services to anyone looking for a doula. She was a fantastic fit for us and we are so grateful for her help in welcoming our sweet baby to the world.

Angie was not only my doula, but she is also a great friend.  Even before I knew I was pregnant, I knew I wanted Angie by my side when having a baby.  She is one of the most caring, compassionate, considerate person I know and I knew she would ease any worries or fears I had about child birth.  Angie was full of knowledge and wisdom, having the training of child birth and having 4 children of her own.  She was also there to answer any question I had and gave me peace of mind when I needed it.  Angie provided us with information that I didn't even know I needed to know and had connections for differnet needs before and after birth.  Angie stayed with me for 18 hours when labour started and helped me feel as comforatable as I could at home and then in the hospital.  This being my first child, neither my husband nor I knew what to expect or what steps to take.  I didn't have to worry though, because Angie was by my side, taking me step by step and giving me peace of mind, so I could focus on the experience and enjoying the birth of our daughter.  She was also there to take pictures and document the birth, so my husband and I could be in the moment and focus on our new little bundle.  I was healthier before, during and after because of the information Angie shared with me and I know I had a great experience because of her.

I would highly recommend a doula for any birth and I would highly recommend Angie to be that doula.  I will definietely be asking her to be by my side for our next child and I have total trust and confidence that she'll help get us through the next birth as well, whatever it may throw at us.

Don't have a baby without a good Doula!!!

My only Doula experieince in my life was with Angie. So I cannot say if she is the best  or not, but I can say with 100% confidence that the whole baby experieince for us would have been much more stressful had we done it without the support of Angie.  As a professional Doula, Angie offered us years of experieince and knowledge with regards to pregnancy, birth and infant care.  She always offered us multiple perspectives and options to read about and consider in addition to real world experieinces to help us make decisions that were right for our situation.

From a Male perspective, I felt pretty useless most of the time, wanting to help my wife with the various things she had to endure during pregnancy, labour, birth and infant care.  Having Angie in my corner to make sure I wasn't missing oppertunities to be helpful was amazing.

Our labour and delivery had 2 complications that would have forced us away from our birth plan.  Angie offered suggestions in both cases that the Mid-Wife would not have employeed otherwise and in both cases we were able to stay within the wishes of our birth plan.  Because Angie has so much experieince she can offer options that Mid-Wives and OBs would not be trained to offer or consider.

I would encourage everyone who is having a baby to bite the bullet and hire a Doula as it will reduce your stress and give you confidence that you are making the right decisions for yourself and your family.

To be honest, getting a doula was my wife’s idea. I knew a doula would be helpful for her, but I didn’t realize how helpful it would be for me. Angie was extremely helpful during pregnancy. She answered all of my questions as well as helped me to feel prepared and know what to expect. During labour and my son’s birth, I found it really reassuring to have her knowledge and experience. I had no idea what would happen or what I should do to help my wife. Everything that I had read or learned from books went out the window when my wife went into labour. Angie was like a coach for me and helped me to support and help my wife in the ways she needed. It was really helpful to have an extra person there to support my wife when I needed to eat or step away. Financially, it was 100% worth every penny and I would definitely hire Angie again. I recommend that everyone use Angie with their pregnancy.

I’m not quite sure how to put into words all that we have to thank Angie for. My husband and I are so incredibly grateful for all that she has done to help and support us. As a pelvic health physiotherapist, I have known that the research clearly shows that a doula helps reduce intervention in births and helps women feel more supported. I knew I would get a doula, but Angie went above and beyond any of my expectations.

From the start, she was very open-minded, reassuring, and encouraging. She always made sure we were well-informed and confident in making the choice that felt most right for us. She did not pressure us to choose a certain option and we never felt judged for our choices.

Knowing that I could text her with any of my random concerns or questions was very reassuring. Her loving check-ins were always uplifting ?? She had so many little tips & tricks for pregnancy and life with baby that have made a big difference and made this whole experience easier.

Most of all, her quiet and calming presence at our son’s birth is something that we are forever thankful for. She gave my husband confidence, encouragement, and information when he needed it. The warm candles, heating pack and position ideas helped me feel SO much better during labour. We cannot thank her enough for her warm heart and reassuring voice; her presence and her gentle touch. She made me and my husband feel loved, supported and respected through my birth. She helped make what could have been a scary experience into something empowering.

The moment I found out that and my partner was pregnant, I knew we needed to find ourselves a doula. Not only to make the most out of this beautiful experience but to make sure my partner had the best support possible. After meeting Angie for the first time; we knew she was who needed along this journey with us.

We looked forward to every home visit with Angie. She made me feel more confident about supporting more partner through pregnancy and becoming a new parent. Even when our birthing plan changed, Angie was with us at each step of the way. I couldn’t imagine going through this without her. I’ll always be grateful for her support, care, and friendship.

We honestly cannot imagine going through this experience without Angie by our side. She provided us with a wealth of expertise and education in addition to emotional support and peace of mind. Due to unforcene circumstances, we were forced to adjust our birth plan but Angie was able to provide ongoing support and educate us regarding our options and what to expect. Her support during (not to mention following) the birth was also more than we could have expected or asked for. She was always there for us and was quick to respond to any and all questions or concerns (regardless how ridiculous) we had pre and post baby.

I must admit I was sceptical on whether we required a Doula in the beginning but my partner insisted it was the way to go for our first child. After our experience with Angie I am a total believer and can't imagine going through this without her and highly recommend Agnie to anyone considering a Doula.

Angie was such a wonderful support and wealth of information during my pregnancy.  She took the time to answer all the questions that I had. As my due date approached I had a lot of back and forth from the hospital and Angie's experienc, knowledge and understanding helpes to make my birth experience the beautiful event that it was even as some stressful situations arose . I highly recommend Angie's birth support services and will definitely use her services if we are blessed with more children in the future. Thank you again Angie!!!
