I can't imagine my 3rd trimester, birth and afterbirth without Nicole! My husband and I were very comfortable with her.
She was wonderful doula! She's friendly, professional, knowledgeable and reliable person. When I was in 3rd trimester, she came to my house for giving massage(pressure point) with essential oil! Also she did teach me and my husband what we can try for induce labor naturally at home.
we wanted to do natural birth at home, found out my baby became breech after due date. I had to do c-section! Nicole came to hospital right away, eventhough she can't come in to the surgery room and recovering room. I remember her smile before my surgery and she hold my hand. She was waiting for me from my surgery and recover at hospital. And she stay another hour to teach me how to breastfeed and answer my questions after I back to my room.
She's wonderful! Evey little questions she would answer! I highly recommend Nicole as a doula!

We hired Nicole as our Doula for the birth of our first child in September. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and answered all of our questions and concerns thoroughly. Having Nicole with us during labor made us feel calm about going through the entire process. I feel like I have made another life long friend! I would highly recommend Nicole to anyone looking for a Doula!

Nicole was my doula for my April 2017 baby and I truly couldn’t imagine my birth experience without her.

She was so supportive, knew exactly what I needed and when. She is incredibly supportive and was there for me through
every complication that came up in my pregnancy, with Nicole’s support I was able to have the natural birth I wanted.

I highly recommend her to anyone considering a doula for their pregnancy/birth.

Nicole was our Doula for our Rainbow Baby born June 2018.

Right from our first meeting we felt as though she was going to be a pivotal member of our birth team, and this absolutely proved to be the case! Both my husband and I cannot imagine our birth story without  her in it.

Prior to our labour and delivery, Nicole was very informative and always supportive of our ideas and wishes. She was a great support when my labour began in a way I hadn’t anticipated but went with the  flow alongside us when we had to change things up. She knew what I wanted and helped advocate for it with hospital staff when I couldn’t, which was my number one reason for wanting to hire a Doula in the first place. She was an incredible support to me and  to my husband during labour, which helped him support me in the best ways possible - so much so that hospital staff commented on how wonderful the atmosphere was in the room. Nicole’s use of essential oils was fantastic during labour - It was something I didn’t  know I wanted before meeting her but now look back at so fondly! She worked HARD during the 15 hour labour and did it with a phenomenal attitude. Nicole ensured that I remembered my wishes when times were getting tough and worked well with the nurses and hospital  staff to help keep everything on track. I truly believe that in our situation, we would have ended up in the operating room if not for her knowledge and advocacy in the delivery room.

When Romilly was born, Nicole made sure that we had skin-to-skin time

immediately and that breastfeeding began as soon as possible. Once home, she did a home visit to ensure breastfeeding was going well and that we were adjusting.

We highly recommend Nicole. Having a Doula onboard is such an amazing support, and she proved that through and through.

Where to begin is the question. Nicole was not only my doula but I now consider her my friend. I met Nicole through another client of hers and was very Leary of how the process worked. Lets be real we are talking about bringing a stranger into one of the most Intimate moments of your life. I have to say I am beyond happy I did for both mine and my husbands sake. Nicole was very involved from the start of my pregnancy when we decided to have Nicole as our doula. She would always answer my calls our texts even I was just being paranoid but she was always there to reassure that things were ok. As we neared my due date Nicole stayed in close contact and messaged almost every morning to see how things were going and how I was feeling. If there was something she could do to help she would. Nicole was quick to arrive at our house when we called and took no time at all jumping into what she does best. She was so caring and supportive during my labour and delivery. Nicole uses many different methods a few of which she used on me were essential oils and acupressure. She also helped my husband be apart of the it all, in which he was very thrilled about because he felt involved. I would strongly recommend Nicole you will not be disappointed.

Nicole in an incredible listener with a rich knowledge base on childbirth, new infant attachment and baby care.  On the night before my scheduled csection she came to my home laden with aromatherapy, a gentle calm demenor and a glow of positive spirituality.  She spent several hours sitting with me talking through my fears, validating my worries and encouraging me to allow myself to feel the joy and anticipation in what was to come letting go to the past negativities to enjoy this new journey.

My girl was born healthy but had some "wetness" in her lungs so she had to be wisked into the NICU.    There is a true magic in the sisterhood of being a woman with someone that crosses that bridge with you.  I was blessed to have stretcher wheeled into the NICU.  The hospital staff was busy and in those early moments Nicole helped eith early skin to skin contact and helped get our babe on the breast right away.  If I had to depend on the staff at the hospital alone this wouldnt have happened.

My advice to all mamas to be specifically the ones who are expecting their rainbow baby (baby after loss) is the invest the money in Nicole and her services.  And if that is not a option skip the registering for fancy expensive baby items (truthfully a newborns material needs are pretty minimal) and register with her so that your family, friends, neighbours and coworkers can pool that money in lieu of gifts for the experience of having a douls.  A doula does not replace medical staff she is there to supplement their short comings in the realm of attachment and spiritually.  She is not there to replace your husband but she is there to support and encourage them. Her personality is strong and inspiring and the love of birth and babies is contagious.  Nicole is truly a blessing to have on your incredible journey and I highly recommend her to all.

My name is kendra valcourt. I had nicole as my doula with my newly birthed daughter. The last three weeks leading up to my birth was crazy long in and our of early labor in pain amd i couldnt sleep. I was restless tired and highly emotional. Nicole was wonderful not only because this is what she does, but because she really cared about the well being of myself and my baby to be. Nicole was always readily avalible for advice suggestions and amazing support. She was knowledgable comforting in her voice when needed, and energetic during my time of active labor and delivery. The words of encouragement during labor and delivery made me continue to push through my birthing. She believed in me when i couldnt believe in myslef. Nicole was just over the top. Nicole also used the use of young living esential oils and those helped me greatly in relaxing. When i braught nicole on i immediatly was comfortable and feeling very happy about my decision in a doula. Nicole knows 100 percent her techniques and what to do when i trusted her fully. I could not imagine going with any other doula other then nicole. Nicole is also very flexiable and easy going in birth plans. She is eaisly adaptive to the enviroment.

Thank you nicole! For making my birthing expierence the best one i could ever imagine everything.

I encourage anyone reading this testimony to bring nicole on as your doula.

You wont regreat it!.

Even though I don't live in Canada , Nicole was always there at any time I needed her. Even if a question seemed silly to me, she never made me feel like it was silly. I felt comfortable going to her with any problems and questions, even the really personal ones that felt tmi. She was very sweet and professional, and I felt very grateful to have someone to talk to about anything. Thanks, Nicole!

Nicole was extremely helpful during a very stressful time, to help my daughter give birth. She was professional and knowledgeable on every question that we threw at her. Even though Nicole was not in Wisconsin where my daughter gave birth, she was available via skype and messenger at all hours of the night. It was a pleasure to have her in our corner

Nicole was a wonderful Doula! She did everything I asked of her! She was attentive and was always available to answer any and all questions I had. When I called her at 3am in the morning she beat the midwife to my house! She stayed right by my side and helped me out in all the ways we had talked about prior to the birth and respected my birthing decisions with no question. I highly recommend Nicole as an excellent Doula! If you want someone to be there and comfort you, help you and be your voice when you don't feel as though you have one then get Nicole as your Doula! Trust me! You won't regret it!
