 Hello beautiful mommys to be,

I just want to say a few words about what a great experience I had with Ayesha Muhammad. I originally sought after Ayesha for postpartum support however she ended up being one of my birth doulas as well. I am a single mom of 2, with very little family in the New York area. I struggled with antenatal depression and knew I needed lots of support surrounding my birth. I hired two doulas and felt pretty safe with my birth team, that is until late Friday night one of my doulas informed me she was heading out of town for the weekend. Had I not been having contractions for weeks and been two weeks away from my due date it would have been no big deal. I was crushed, felt so let down and abandoned but I believe in divine order. Not even 15 minutes after I got the devestating message, I received a call from Ayesha, calling to check on me. Talk about timing!!!! Ayesha came to me first thing the next morning and really gave me the love and energy I needed to release my baby. After a full day of light contractions we both decided to take a little alone time and give ourselves some TLC. Maybe an hour after Ayesha left me, while my 3 year old was fast asleep in my bed, my water broke and my baby was knocking on the door! Ayesha, being the superhero she is, rushed back to me and almost had to deliver my baby in the back seat of her car lol. In the middle of the night during a fluke snow shower we arrived at the Brooklyn Birthing Center and 7 minutes later my daughter Lotus was born! Ayesha is dedicated, nurturing and reliable. Blake, Lotus and I were immesely lucky to have her. Ayesha is a fabulous doula who gives her all to the families she supports. Trust me you will be so glad you hired her!

I  knew of Ayesha through a birth client who was also a friend. As this 2nd time mama neared her EDDD we knew it would be a fast one and Ayesha and I teamed together to support this mama with her 3 year old toddler, settling her nerves as labored stirred early on that day as well as Ayesha traveled with this mama and her toddler to the birthing center where I met them. Ayesha as the ideal tag team doula and soon left after delivery once I started to help with nursing. Due to the fast labor I know without a doubt if Ayesha was not there it wouldl have been a stressful situation, my client would not have made it the birthing center and it would not have unfolded the way it did. We were all happy for her presence.
