Marie began supporting my family a few weeks into the birth of my second child. I wish I had had Marie beside me during my first birth! (I was living abroad at the time). I could not have asked for a more supportive, kind, thoughtful, experienced, positive person to help me through the first months of becoming a mom, again.

I have plenty of family in the area, but it was often a sigh of relief to have Marie arrive. Marie always made sure I took care of myself. She fed me, made me take naps and was always ready to give a hug when needed. As I had basically two babies to juggle, Marie was extremely flexible in regards to what type of help I needed. Sometimes that meant taking care of my newborn, sometimes it meant taking both of my kids out of the house so I could just take a breath. Marie was so wonderful with both of my children and so attentive to their needs and thier relationship.

Marie was the first one to notice my daughter’s tongue and lip tie. She supported me through the struggles of breastfeeding and was a positive advocate through all of my ups and downs. Marie always had time to listen and support me through challenges big and small. If it were up to me, I would have kept Marie in the family forever! When I had to travel for work, Marie was an amazing asset and took care of both my children while I was gone. I never worried a minute when I knew they were with her.

I still continue to count on Marie to this day and cherish the support she provides to my family. I would recommend her to anyone. Her presence is a gift to any household.

We first hired Marie out of sleep-deprived desperation with our firstborn. She expertly coached us until we were better rested and more capable parents. When the second child arrived 21 months later, as well as a maternal cancer diagnosis, we turned again to Marie. Remembering that hiring a postpartum doula is both about expert care for the world's most precious newborn and the world weary mother, Marie provided plenty of TLC to us both - and to our near two year-old toddler who adored her (and still does).  We are forever grateful for the gift of this wonderful person. We cannot recommend her highly enough!

There are no words to thank Marie enough for all the love, compassion, caring, kindness, and help she provided when I brought my twin girls home. I felt at ease the moment I met her. Whether she was supporting me through emergencies, helping me at pediatrician appointments, or guiding me through all the new things that being a single mom of twins can bring, she always had our best interest, health, and happiness at heart. I am forever indebted to Marie for getting us through those tough first months; working with Marie was the best thing I could have done to get our family started the right direction. I miss her warmth and nurturing presence in our home on a regular basis, but still keep in touch and know I can count on Marie anytime I need advice. I hope you are as lucky as I was to have found Marie, at this special time in your life, too.
