As first-time parents, there was so much to learn about options for our birth, and alternative help for mother and baby, postpartum. Stacey was incredibly patient with us as we asked every question, and she has a very gentle spirit that put our minds at ease. We ended up having Stacey do the placenta encapsulation and tincture for us, and it was one of the best choices we could have made for our growing family! She so graciously was able to go to our birthing facility to pick up the placenta, and kept in touch with us throughout the first few days at home with our newborn. Any time she dropped by, she was so thoughtful of our time with the new baby, and offered so much advice and encouragement. Stacey has incredible attention to detail with her beautiful packaging and sweet hand-written notes. She went above and beyond with her communication with us and making sure she delivered the absolute best. We would absolutely use Stacey and her services again!

My husband and I used Stacey for both prenatal classes as well as for our birth doula. I am so glad we did, because between the 41 hours it took from the time my water broke to our daughter being delivered, our birth plan changed 3 or 4 times. We put everything we learned from the classes to good use while we labored at home, and my husband and Stacey were in constant contact. Once we got admitted at the hospital, Stacey came and stayed with us for the long haul. She made sure all my questions were answered and I felt comfortable and supported moving on each step of the way. I would not have been able to have such a positive birth experience with all of the changes and unexpected turns without her knowledge and expertise.

My husband and I both felt comfortable with Stacey and were relaxed by her calm presence right away. It was an easy decision choosing her as our doula. She is very knowledgable and clearly communicates best practices.

Before our birth, Stacey checked in with us periodically, offered resources, provided tools and encouraged us.

On the day I went into labor, Stacey met us along the highway so she could ride with us, offering support on the drive to the chiropractor. I was especially thankful for her support in the car. She applied counter-pressure and had essential oils ready to help me through contractions.

During labor, Stacey was there for both of us the entire time, ensuring I was fed, hydrated, using the restroom...she even applied chapstick for me while I was in the birth tub.

The birth of our son didn't go as planned, and we ended up transferring to the hospital. Stacey was there every step of the way and stayed with us afterwards.

A few weeks postpartum she came to our house and chatted with us to help us process all that happened.

Throughout the entire process, she was nothing but encouraging, supportive and calm. My husband and I both highly recommend her as a doula!

Stacey was definitely the right doula for us. This was our first pregnancy and we desired a medication-free birth at a birthing center. We had never been through labor before and since we really didn't know what the experience would be like we wanted a person there who we knew, would help us reach our goals, and be there to help us make decisions when things deviated from our birth plan while knowing she is employed by us and there to serve our best interest. We felt comfortable around Stacey. She had knowledge and experience, and we always knew we could approach her and share our fears and struggles. One of our fears was going to the hospital. It was based on some hard previous experiences there, but Stacey was not afraid of the hospital and had experience even with C-sections, the exact opposite of our desired birth plan. It was a source of comfort to have Stacey with us because we knew that in our worst scenario we would have someone who would be unafraid, a calm presence, and would have experience to pull from. When we went into labor it was a bit surreal. We suddenly realized it was happening and we did not feel alone. Stacey was the first person we talked to and it felt so right to have her with us. We were together by 2:30 pm. The three of us worked very hard for many hours and our son was born at 10 that night. We had the natural birth we desired and felt like a team the entire time. On a professional note, Stacey was always punctual to all our prenatal appointments and childbirth education classes. She was also very easy to get ahold of and fast at responding to questions all throughout the pregnancy. She helped us access evidence-based literature, find a pediatrician we felt comfortable with, and had referrals for other healthcare professionals. Even after our post-natal appointment, she still would answer all our new parent question text messages. We definitely recommend that you consider Stacey and take advantage of her free consultation.
