I HIGHLY recommend Ashlee. Not just for the pregnancy support but for postpartum support. I used Ashlee's services on my second childbirth. I didn't feel I got the adequate support with my first pregnancy and I wanted to be a better advocate for myself the second time around.

Ashlee helped me feel empowered to stay stay true to my desires and prepare adequately. Overall I was calm and confident in my pregnancy.

So calm, I almost missed delivering at the hospital. However, Ashlee made sure I got there safely and she helped me get checked in when my husband was parking. Thanks to Ashlee, I was mentally and physically prepared for the birth I had desired. 

A few weeks after childbirth, I had some complications arise. Ashlee helped me get ahold of my doctor when it felt like no one else in the hospital would take responsibility for my care.

I'm deeply grateful for Ashlee! She is one of a kind!

I was going for a VBAC after having twins. My experience with the twins I was uneducated and realized after that I needed to know more for my next pregnancy, but I had no idea where to start. Once we found out I was pregnant a year after having the twins I knew I needed a doula. We had interviewed multiple doulas and as we sat down with Ashlee we had no doubt she was the one we wanted. Ashlee was there for me after every appointment when I had a question that I forgot to ask the doctor. She helped me not just with explaining my medical options but also my diet when it came to some thyroid issues that had occurred in the beginning. When it came towards the end of my pregnancy she was the biggest blessing. I had been contracting for about two weeks until I actually went into labor. She would encourage and remind me that my body was preparing and doing everything it needed. It was a long 40 hours of labor and pushing. Ashlee was there for me every bit of it. She was able to help me through every contraction whether it was putting me in different positions, getting me water/ food, or praying over me. She was a big help in making the decision to get an epidural after 30+ hours to help my body relax. Her constant prayers and encouragement were something I didn't know I needed but could not imagine not having her there. I could not have had a successful VBAC without her and I'm so thankful that she was with us through the birth of my third son. I will absolutely being using Ashlee with any other pregnancies that I have!

Ashlee was absolutely amazing as my doula! I booked a consult with her after another provider recommended her, and she was the only consult I needed. She was kind and caring, as our first pregnancy ended in an early miscarriage. My second pregnancy she was my biggest cheerleader. She met every anxiety with information and prayer, and helped equip me (as much as a first time mom can be) for birth and motherhood along the road of pregnancy. She was present over text when I went into labor slowly and came quickly once more support was needed. During birth, she was equal parts supportive and assertive about positioning and comfort measures, and she somehow made the time in between contractions actually fun and full of a laughter. Her support continued long after birth for lactation support and baby check-ins. Having Ashlee during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum was like having the supportive big sister I didn't know I needed. I can't imagine hiring anyone else for any future births I may have.

When I began the process of finding a Doula, I felt very overwhelmed - I had no idea where to start.  I begain "interviewing" doulas to see who would be the best match and who aligned with my preferences. From the moment I sat down with Ashlee I had a sense of calm. She helped me feel confident and validated my previous birth story. As we began to get to know each other, she helped walk me through my previous experience and move forward into our second birth story. I felt comfortable partnering with her in our pregnancy and birth journey.

I was truly blessed to work with Ashlee.  Not only was she very knowledgable but she easily communicated with me and answered any questions as they came up.  I loved the sessions we had in preparation for birth. She walked me through so many aspects I had never considered before.  With a solid gameplan, I went into our natural, unmedicated birth with more tools and confidence than before.  Ashlee had my birth goals in mind as she helped my husband and I through the labor and delivery process. She advocated for me at the hospital and honestly was the calm and steady voice I could hear - encouraging me the entire way. She made confident choices and helped us to have the best birth experience possible. I am very grateful that she was part of our very special journey.

Words cannot properly express what Ashlee provides. It is so much more than just care to the physical or the emotional side of birth, but the spirital side of it as well. During my pregnancy Ashlee helped me slowly embrace the word "surrender," which has always been a very foreign concept to someone who loves control as much as myself. When it came time for my delivery, pretty much everything I didn't want to happen, happened. With the support of Ashlee, my husband and I were able to adapt, stay true to ourselves, come closer to God, and truly surrender to the process. I now have a one year old and the roots of surrendering that Ashlee helped me establish have translated so beautfilly into motherhood itself. I am eternally grateful that she continues to highlight the power, grace, and beauty of God's design for women, for birth, and for families. She is truly the hands and feet of Jesus.

Our first meeting with Ashlee provided a sense of comfort in knowing we were doing the right thing by hiring a doula. Immediately, We knew she was knowledgeable about all things health, pregnancy, birth, postpartum and nursing. She taught us so much during our prenatal meetings. On top of that, her presence is comforting. She listens and cares. We needed someone who could be a part of our team and navigate the unknowns of birth. Ashlee has exceeded that role with our family two times now! My husband would recommend every dad have this kind of support through labor and delivery. Having Ashlee with you as you give birth provides so much peace and comfort! She is filled with the Spirit and it is evident. We will always hire Ashlee and recommend her to all my friends and family. She is a blessing to all she knows!

Ashley’s doula services were first recommended to me by a trusted family member, therefore it was an easy decision to hire her to help me and my husband navigate the birth of our first child. To us, the thought of developing a birthing plan was overwhelming to say the least, but Ashley helped ease our minds tremendously and asked us so many thought provoking questions along the way that led us to finalize exactly what we wanted and why. Throughout the months of working with her, Ashley was extremely knowledgeable and helped shed light on all questions and concerns I had, and the way she cared for my family was selfless and kind. From preparing us mentally for what was to come, to advocating for me in the hospital when I was not able to think clearly, she made my very difficult 36 hour labor the most amazing birthing experience I could have ever prayed for. Ashley was the biggest blessing to my family during a very monumental season and we would highly recommend her, or anyone who trains under her guidance, to any family who is looking for a trusted doula.

Ashlee has been my doula for both of my births and I can't imagine her not being there if we ever had another. She was truly the best support for my husband and I throughout both of my pregnancies and births. The tools that she gave us to help me work through the physical pain and overcome the fears I had surrounding labor and delivery were so so helpful, and we cannot thank her enough. The way she was there for me through every phase of both deliveries was more than we could've asked or hoped for. She encouraged me every step of the way during the 3.5 hours of pushing during my first birth and always offered water and cool rags when I needed them.

The postpartum visits are also something I always look forward to and truly appreciate. Ashlee is compassionate, dedicated, and knowledgeable, and brings a calming presence everywhere she goes. So if you're thinking about hiring Ashlee, you won't regret it!

I reached out to Ashlee when pregnant with our second baby, wanting to have a natural VBAC but also full of fears and insecurities about that process. Ashlee was so sweet and understanding about all of my questions and fears. The information she gave to me and my husband was exactly what we needed to prepare for that experience. When I found out I had Gestational Diabetes, Ashlee drove a book from her library to me that same day so I could research and not feel so overwhelmed. Ultimately, the thing that made all of the difference in my labor experience was the idea of surrendering that Ashlee reminded me of- to give myself and my baby and our story to God and to hold that with open hands. This enabled me to have a peaceful heart and wonderful, natural VBAC. When we found out two years later that I was pregnant with our third, I texted Ashlee right away. If we are blessed with another baby, I will do the same thing! I'm so grateful for her confident, peaceful presence at my births and count her as a friend. You will not regret having her as your doula!!

Working with Ashlee was an answer to my prayers!! When I thought about giving birth I was filled with fear. I didn’t know what to expect and was afraid to commit to a natural birth and then “fail”. Ashlee helped me get past the fear of the unknown by providing us with a ton of non biased information. She also helped me realize that there is no such thing as failing when at the end of the day you get to hold your sweet baby in your arms! I was very surprised with how comfortable both my husband and I became with Ashlee in such a short amount of time. Here I am reflecting on the birth of our little boy and I can’t help but smile! Being able to bring him into the world naturally was such an amazing experience. It is the most empowered I have ever felt! I don’t know if I would have had the courage to go through with my gut with out Ashlee and my husband by my side! Not only did she help me but she helped my husband know how to help me. I will be forever grateful for Ashlee and the calm she brought to our labor experience!

When we met Ashlee, we immediately felt that she was the right doula for us because of how comfortable we were with her, how kind she is, and her emphasis on including dad in the delivery. My husband was nervous that he wouldn’t feel included during labor and that he might hang back, but Ashlee assured us that wouldn’t happen.

I had a lot of fears and Ashlee was so reassuring. She kept reminding me that I could do it at every step of the way. When Ashlee arrived at the hospital, my husband and I both felt so much relief! She showed my husband how to relieve my pressure during contractions, and was so encouraging to me as I got closer to delivery. Then she celebrated with us when our son was born!

Ashlee was taking notes and pictures all throughout my labor which was such a blessing to have afterwards! Now we have a clear record of what happened that day instead of relying on my hazy memory.

We love Ashlee and would recommend her to anyone!

Working with Ashlee was the best experience we could have imagined. We were skeptical of hiring a doula because we didn’t know for sure if I’d make it- “all natural”! And I didn’t- thanks to a need for pitocin. But- the prep we did with her before was worth its weight in gold. She helped me work through some very big fears from previous birth experiences, and allowed us to focus on the joy to come. She prayed over us and with us, and my husband said he’s never felt so involved or connected in any of our births. All thanks to Ashlee showing him and modeling for him what I needed. She gave me the courage to speak up for myself about my wants in the hospital, which is huge for someone as non confrontational as I am! In the end- when NOTHING went according to plan, she was there- reading my affirmations, helping me find comfortable positions, holding my hand, gently coaching my husband, and then welcoming our healthy baby boy into the world. We truly can’t give her a high enough recommendation!

I wanted a natural birth and had heard that having a Doula helps decrease the likelihood of having a medicated birth. I have high anxiety in general and so I wanted a person who could calm me down and who knew the "in's and outs" of labor. My husband is pretty cheap so he didn't want a Doula but he figured any money would be well spent to take away my anxiety. A friend recommended Ashlee and after a consultation my husband and I were all in!

My husband was actually the one who convinced me that Ashlee was "the one" for us. She was incredible! Such an encouragement, support, kind and a wealth of knowledge and resources.

She went above and beyond to care for both myself and my husband through the entire process. The other day I said "If we have another kid, I want to have a Doula again" to which my husband responded "I agree, but if we have another kid, I want Ashlee to be our Doula again".

She will forever to be part of our lives and our son's story!

Ashlee was an amazing and invaluable help to my husband and I during the delivery of our son. She is one of the sweetest, most positive, and encouraging people I have ever met. She really encouraged me in the moments I wanted to give up, and I will forever be grateful that we chose her to be a part of such a special time in our lives. I met with Ashlee to hear more about what hiring her would entail, but I wasn't sure that having a doula was something we "needed." At our first meeting, I was so comfortable and at ease hearing her experiences with various types of births and I hired her on the spot! When I told my husband about it, he was not as excited and felt like he wouldn't have a role if we had a doula present. After our meeting with Ashlee, he felt completely different and actually started to get excited about having someone there to help with getting us to try different positions or to run and get us something if we needed it so that he could stay with me the whole time. We felt completely prepared going into our labor and had so much peace thanks to Ashlee. Trust me, you will be so happy to have her on your team cheering you on! We would hire her again and again.

We hired Ashlee as our doula for our second pregnancy/birth with the goal of having another unmedicated hospital delivery. Having become a SAHM since having our first child, we planned to hire someone "fresh" in the doula world in order to pinch pennies. My husband and I (and our toddler) interviewed a few wonderful ladies and we instantly meshed with Ashlee. Having had an amazing, experienced doula at our first birth, I can attest that Ashlee is every bit as intuitive, capable and knowledgeable. She provided us with support every step of the way- pregnancy, labor and postpartum- with her gentle, uplifting and empathetic spirit. We ended up having an unexpected induction, and her encouragement and assistance in providing physical comfort to me in that period was invaluable and helped me achieve the kind of birth I desired, despite the change in plans. I know her business is going to grow fast because she's that talented and I'd wholeheartedly recommend Ashlee to anyone looking for a doula!

Ashlee has such a heart for caring and loving those around her. Her heart with her passion for the birth process makes for an excellent doula.

Ashlee went absolutely above and beyond to serve us from the very beginning. She was super understanding when we would "get behind" in any preparation we had planned and helped us be dramatically more prepared for birth than if we didn't have her working with us. She gladly met me at the hospital (weeks before she was on call to do so) when the false alarm sounded. She has an invaluable set of knowledge in addition to other resources that were extremely helpful to us! When the real labor started Ashlee helped me learn to handle/use each contraction AND she also helped me and my husband work together through the process. She coached daddy-to-be through how to supportive with just the right amount of information and never overwhelmed him. She talked/walked/guided/encouraged/helped us thrive through 96HOURS OF LABOR!!!(I do not recommend 96 hours of labor for anyone!!) What dedication! I cannot imagine bringing our son into the world without Ashlee and what a different story that would have been.

If you're thinking about hiring a doula Ashlee is a great pick and our family highly recommends her services!

Ashlee was an incredible doula! She was so supportive and really helped me work through my fears and doubts! She was very knowledgeable and could always help me with any resource I needed leading up to my labor. She is so passionate and really cares for her clients their families! It was a such a joy to work with her! Durning my labor she was very intuative into my needs and desires! One of the best things she did for me was write out all my affirmations and post them in my room so I could see them and draw strength from them when I felt like giving up! My husband and I couldnt have had the labor and delivery that we had without Ashlee there to help support us! It truly was an amazing experience and the envestiment we made in her was beyond worth it!!!
