Though I was excited to meet our daughter, I was pretty nervous about the birth experience especially because I likely wouldn't have my regular doctor at my birth since they rotated with another practice. The moment we met Alysa we knew she would be a great fit. She is warm, confident and caring and quickly put us at ease. She made us feel like she was an old friend right away. She gave us great advice not only in preparation for birth, but also for our postpartum experience as well. She was easy to talk to and helped ensure that we were prepared! We ended up needing to be induced at 41 weeks and Alysa helped support us through the process and made us feel confident in our decisions. I would recommend Alysa to everyone and encourage you to have her on your birth team! She is absolutely AMAZING! 

We signed up for Heather's services to support us during the birth of our first child. We had our first session with Heather prior to delivery and another session post partum. Of course, Heather arrived promptly prior to delivery at the hospital and was a phenomenal support for my husband and I.

Heather is easy going, sensitive, informed and extremely responsive !! We were first time parents and Heather went to great lengths to explain the birthing process and hospital logistics. The first session with Heather was mostly an informational session - Heather spent several hours with us and answered all our questions / concerns. She was prompt with follow ups throughout the process - she would check in periodically (even during her vacation) to see how our doctor visits were coming along, provide us with helpful educational resources and answer our adhoc questions. During the delivery, Heather arrived well in advance and remained with us the whole time. She worked with the medical staff and ensured that all instructions were clearly understood and that there was no information lost in translation. Post partum, Heather met with us and guided us on recovery process and provided several informational resources! Also, Heather was kind enough to bring in some brand new supplies donated by some of her other clients! 

Overall, my husband and I are extremely glad to have had Heather's support!! She is absolutely absolutely terrific and I would strongly recommend her!! THANK YOU Heather!

Emma was an essential part of my birth experience. Every time I left a zoom conversation with her, ended a text exchange, or had her support in person I felt how powerful I was as a birthing person. I originally sought her support because I had in a high risk pregnancy that was not going exactly the way I had always imagined. Emma was incredibly knowledgeable about the intricacies of birth (including the complications I incountered) and validating of all the diverse ways birth happens. She knew what teas and snacks to recommend and connected me with so many other supports from prenatal massage, to a postpartum doula. She was a great teammate to my husband and to the L&D nurses at the hospital. We are so lucky that we had Emma to help us welcome baby Willow into the world.
