Relevant volunteer or advocacy work

I have been supporting women and their families in birth and pregnancy since 2010. Throughout this time, I have been immersed in the Tucson birth community and I work and volunteer with various nonprofits surrounding perinatal mood disorders like postpartum depression or anxiety. I also founded and organize Tucson's annual Natural Birth and Baby Fest. I so strongly believe in a person's right to have a safe, empowering, and evidence-based birth experience, that I am currently studying to become a Certified Professional Midwife through Midwives College of Utah.
