Kristin was absolutely amazing! She was very supportive before, during and after my pregnancy and birth. She attending prenatals with my midwife even though she didn’t have to. She also check in with me between visits and provided great resources. The techniques she used to assist with my coping during labor were great! She used things I have never thought of using myself such as the abdominal lift during contractions and a rhythmic pouring of water while in the tub. It was amazing. Even though I had many people inside my birth space to support me, Kristin truly brought a very positive and calm energy into my birth space. There ended up being an emergency after my son was born and she stayed calm, cool and collected while continuing to support me in the ways I needed it most. I highly recommend Kristin as a birth Doula.

Kristin was a great resource for our first birth experience. From our informative coffee date pre-labor to her massage and photography support at the hospital, we were really grateful to have her with us on this journey!

Working with Kristin as our doula for our first child's birth, was one of the best decision we made. We felt very lucky to have such a caring, patient, personable individual as our doula. Kristin has an obvious passion for her work and this comes across in her approach to her role as a member of our healthcare team. It is apparent that she is always striving to learn more in her field in order to better herself in her trade. The information and resources she provided pre and post-partum were highly useful and individualized to our needs. We were impressed with how responsive she was with communications when on-call (even at 2am when labor started!). She made the birthing process much more tolerable and was a very supportive partner in the birth planning and labor processes. We greatly appreciate her sense of humor and calm, caring demeanor. If we chose to have another child in the future, we would go out of our way to hire her again.

I consider Kristin my personal gift from the universe! She brought nothing but positive energy into my life at a time when I really needed it the most.  Kristin added that additional support and encouragement that I needed to allow me to bring forth the vision I had for my experience through out my pregnancy and most importantly the vision I held for the birth of my fourth child.  She always kept me informed of new information as well as connecting me with community resources that helped me with whatever particular issue that I needed assistance with. Her warm, caring and generous spirit is priceless and I was truly blessed to have that energy when I was bringing forth life. She was always available no matter how small of a concern I had.  She was reliable, dependable and trustworthy I felt she had my best interest in gasser and mind. The birthing experience I had this fourth go round was by far my best! I said I wanted to be surrounded by love from those who were providing care and that's what I was able to experience with Kristin as well as with my mid wives. I've never experienced this level of excellence in care it was absolutely amazing and I feel this is the experience that every woman deserves.

Alissa Wehrman

My name is Alissa Wehrman, and I am a Seattle based birth doula and have supported over 600 families through birth, and been a mentor to dozens of doulas in the area as they started their practices.  Kristin and I were a team for a family recently, and I absolutely loved working together with her.  She was an amazing listener and immediately fell into a groove with our family.  Her committment to learning and processing her role as birth doula was impressive before and after our visits, and she possesses the calm maturity to hold it together and think clearly- whatever is happening!  I'd highly recommend her warmth and compassion and she is full of energy and skills to share.

Atish and I are so grateful to have had Kristin as a supporting doula. We felt so comfortable with her and enjoyed every moment shared. She is warm and genuine and has an excellent sense of humor.  She brings a lot of joy with her to her visits.  She was a great help at our birth, providing counter pressure, fanning, cool wash clothes for my face, passing the water bottles, things I wouldn't have even thought to ask for, but all of which was helpful. And, of course, lots of positivity and support, she was such a calming presence.  Kristin has a great sense of touch.  She moved smoothly between the many things that needed to be done and continually made herself very useful during and after the birth.  Kristin also took many excellent photos for us during the birth which we are so happy to have.  We couldn't have done it with out Kristin and we know she has a tremendous career as a doula ahead of her!
