Post a testimonial for Chaumet Meeks

Where to begin! Chaumet was absolutely amazing. She was there for us before labor/delivery, during, and after. She helped prepare me and my husband in so many ways. With us being first time parents we weren't really sure what to expect. She was there explaining things to us to help us make informed decisions every step of the way. Labor and delivery didn't quite go as planned, but again she was there. We wouldn't have been able to get through everything that we went through without her. She helped coach us through all things labor while involving my husband so that he felt like he was being helpful and not just standing there. If you're on the fence on hiring a doula, don't be. Chaumet is seriously so wonderful. I can't recommend her enough!

Chaumet was a fabulous choice doula for myself and my husband. She is clear and concise, and doesn't allow stress to affect her. She is strong and makes her presence known to the working professionals at the hospital. My entire labor experience was shifted as soon as Chaumet entered the room.
My labor was awful. Long. Chaumet didn't give up for a second and her face was my constant for hours as I tried to push. I eventually needed a c section and have some major abandonment traumas. I told her that once and she didn't miss a beat communicating that and making sure the professionals in the OR kept me feeling safe and supported.
I developed many conditions in my pregnancy, and while not part of her job description, she was there every second with action plans to support! Not just words but action!
As my labor drew near, everything was up in the air. Chaumet was as flexible as they come with formulating new plans, going as far as developing a medical plan to stay home with my child living with Cystic Fibrosis, becoming a sibling doula.
while everything worked out and that wasn't needed it was so nice knowing her support.
My daughter was born on HER DAUGHTERS birthday and that didn't change her professionalism at all. She was there. Nothing got in her way.
You absolutely can't go wrong to chose Chaumet Meeks as your doula!

Absolutely worth the investment! Chaumet Meeks, we are still so blessed to have found you! ??
We had so many questions answered before delivery. I don’t think I would have survived labor without her. And she even came back to discuss the experience and answer questions afterwards.
I will not deliver again without my doula! She supported, coached, and comforted me through the process and even partnered with the nurse on labor positions to keep me moving and progressing. And she was my husband’s cheerleader, which made for a beautiful experience to have him know how to fully support me! She set clear expectations, was so sweet and professional and made such a difference in our overall experience. I can’t say enough positive things!!

Deciding to have a doula was the best decision we made during the pregnancy and postpartum! It gave us security and peace of mind, knowing that we had help with any questions we had. She helped us decide when to go to the hospital, what was normal and what wasn't, and supported us in our natural and non-conventional decisions. Chaumet was our advocate in the hospital, things move and happen so fast, me and my husband were focused on the moment and the pain of childbirth, it's really hard to pay attention to what the nurses are doing and if they are trying to follow your birth plan. my husband tells everyone who asks him about doulas, "10 out of 10, would hire Chaumet again!"To whoever is reading this, I would encourage you to get a doula and chaumet is a great one!

My partner and I had the pleasure of working with Chaumet as our doula for the birth of our first child and our experience was incredible. I live in an area with limited resources, so I didn't have many choices when it came to my providers or birth location. It was very important for me to have an advocate and ally that we trusted to be present at our birth, and that's where Chaumet came in. She was an amazing resource, teacher, and coach and was essential to the birth of our daughter. I gave birth in a hospital and ended up being induced at 41 weeks. After about 30 hours of labor, I successfully delivered a healthy baby girl! I truly attribute my birth story having the outcome that I wished for because of Chaumet, her calming presence, and her ability to empower me in the moments that I felt most defeated. She also offered so much knowledge in the way of position changes, mindset coaching, and so much more that changed my labor and delivery experience positively. I am confident that my birth would have had a different outcome had she not been present. She also enhanced my partners experience ten fold through labor and delivery by empowering him to be an amazing support and allowing him the space to take care of himself. Chaumet was an extra set of capable eyes and hands that made him feel like he could step away to eat a meal, go the bathroom, etc. during my long labor, which ended up being essential to both of us. In a time where support people might feel helpless (my partner's words), Chaumet gave helpful and actionable tasks that enhanced my comfort as well as gave my partner a purpose during this time. We would absolutely love to work with Chaumet again for our future births. I advocate strongly for doula birth support and believe that Chaumet's services are priceless, given that I attribute my empowering birth story and healthy baby girl to the support that we received. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Chaumet!

We hired Chaumet as a sibling support doula, as we live away from family and needed care for our toddler son. Chaumet did an excellent job! Our son has severe food allergies and Chaumet was familiar with EpiPens, as well as competent in caring for a child with his profile. She connected with him well and was great in working/engaging him. Our only regret is I couldn’t clone her and have her as my birth doula as well. I highly recommend her services!

We hired Chaumet as a sibling doula, to help us with our toddler during my labor. I am very happy with Chaumet's work - I felt fully confident in her ability to take care of my son, which was at utmost importance to me while I was in labor. I wasnt worried at all about my son while I labored and felt at ease knowing he was taken care of with love. Chaumet was great wth our son, very calm, easy gooing, and patient. He ended up playing the whole time and had no issues at all, even though it was middle of the night (we were at Birth Center, and my son was too excited to go to sleep). I highly, highly recomment Chaumet to anyone. We even wanted to hire her as a nanny, but unfortunately, she was not availalbe for that.

Chaumet was great! She checked in often and brought great information and offered suggestions. She was ready to do whatever I possibly could need. I ended up having a c-section before any hard labor, but Chaumet was still there and ended up being the person that stayed with our personal belongings while we went I. Went in the OR, she stayed through recovery as well. Chaumet continued to check in after our daughter was born and brought great info on breastfeeding. I feel like she takes the time to really understand each persons personal preferenc, she asked a lot of questions and posed scenario questions, so that she can plan to react in the best way for each person. ;)

Chaumet was a great doula. When we interviewed her, she was very organized and asked us all the right questions. She also brought up several things we had forgotten about since this was our second child. She listened to what our plan was and when it came time for our baby to arrive she was on top of things. She was keeping track of my contractions, noted when I last ate, etc., so when I kept being asked the same questions every time a new nurse/doctor came in I didn't have to remember, she answered for me. She was a great advocate for us with the nurses/doctors to ensure our birth plan was being followed. She communicates very well. She was attentive to my needs and relaid the information to the nurses/doctors. Having her support the second time around made things easier and I wish I would of had her when I had my first child. She was very helpful and supportive through my pregnancy, during delivery and postpartum.
