Lillian was our doula for the birth of our first baby in April 2017. We had a couple of meetings prior to the birth where Lillian supplied us with information on labor and comfort measures, and we were able to discuss various questions we had and practice positions. During labor, Lillian was able to arrive at the birth center within the hour with very little notice. She was a great support to myself as the birthing mom and my husband by providing comforting and reassuring words and making sure we had everything we needed. She even managed to take a few pictures! Lillian was even able to take the placenta and make a print of the tree of life with it afterward. We would highly recommend her to be your doula!

Lillian has a calming energy surrounding her and was a great doula. She provided resources before the birth and was able to articulate her role in the birthing process. She is very positive and supportive during the birthing experience by providing helpful suggestions and emotional and hands on support. She was respectful of our wishes and paid attention to the details of our birth and labor wishes.  We also liked the follow up that she provided after the birth to discuss the birth experience.

Lillian was a great doula! From day one, she had provided so many great resources. If she didn't know the answer to any of the questions or concerns I had, she always had a place to direct me to find an answer. During labor, Lillian was also very helpful. i was so glad it was not only my husband that was present, because Lillian's voice and affirmations helped me so much through the process. I think every woman has a different tendency to know what they need during labor but they don't know it until they're going through it. for me I thought I would need touch/massage more but apparently, Lillian's soothing voice and encouragement was what I needed to get through. the visit after we got home, she also presented a handwritten note of her perspective of my birthing process which really moved me and I am going to keep that for my son's scrapbook! (Since I didnt  or make such specific notes as what she had provided me with). Thanks, Lillian!
