We are so grateful to have been referred to Elizabeth Trantanella.

We found Elizabeth in the midst of a very complicated pregnancy. My partner and I can both say with confidence that we would not have found our way to the outcome that we had decided upon if we had not had Elizabeth tirelessly working and advocating for us. She managed to connect us to the only doctors in the state that would give us the very particular type of care which we were seeking.

Navigating hospitals, doctors and the laws that govern them was beginning to feel impossible.

We were worn out, worried and beyond frustrated after attempting for weeks to find our way through Kentucky's medical system. Once we were introduced, Elizabeth drove 75 miles to get to us almost immediately. We spent a few hours together discussing our pregnancy and what our objectives were. After feeling alone and defeated by months of difficulty where every new step seemed to result in a new complication either with our baby or with the medical system, Elizabeth led the way for us and gave us a clear picture of all of our options for the rest of the way.

Just as we had begun to feel that we had exhausted all of our resources and that we would be unable to resolve our pregnancy in the way that we wanted to, Elizabeth found us the care that we were looking for and gave us the support that we needed exactly when we needed it the most.

We cannot recommend Elizabeth Trantanella highly enough and we look forward to having her in our corner as our doula during our next pregnancy.

Liz is personable and helpful in a way that puts you at ease and allows you to take a deep breath in what is often a stressful time of transition. I was amazed at how the little things she was able to help me accomplish made a huge impact on my outlook and allowed me to care better for my family. Liz was quick to offer helpful guidance in areas I needed, such as resources for counseling and mental healthcare, and encouragement toward meal planning and other household management and tasks. A postpartum doula is such a gift in a culture that seems to more often isolate new mama's than come alongside them and help with their adjustment to a new normal. Liz was eager to help me and my family achieve small goals toward that new normal and we are grateful for that. My 3 year old benifited greatly as well, being new to having a baby around and being the middle child, she thrived on the company and interaction she had from Liz. I strongly recommend seeking the support of this caring lady during your mama journey, whatever that looks like and whatever your needs may be.

Liz helped my husband and I as a postpartum doula after the birth of our first child. She is an extremely thoughtful, knowledgable doula who always strived to adapt to my needs as a new mom. From providing conversation to assisting with chores to just watching our new baby sleep while I left the house and enjoyed some fresh air, she was always helpful. She has a wealth of knowledge about breastfeeding and baby care, as well as useful tips on how to care for your own body.

Every new mother needs support and encouragement, both before, during and after a child arrives on the scence. Having a doula like Liz as a resource has been a reliable way to ease anxiety, stress and uncertainty about the entire process. It was like having a surrogate sister who knew all the ropes.

10/10 would do again. :D
