What an amazing postpartum doula! Near the beginning of January I was desperately searching for a doula for my brother whose baby would be arriving shortly. Originally someone was going to be with mom the first 6 weeks postpartum. Just weeks before the baby was born that person no longer could help out which began my search for help. I live in Philly and my brother is in southern Maryland. I was put in touch with Linsey whom from the beginning was so inviting and knowledgeable. I instantly felt at ease having her meet my brother and new family. I was so very pleased with how flexible she was with the time frame and dates she could be there for them. I got many phone calls from my brother and his family saying how wonderful she was and how when any diffulty arose she was able to assist at tackling it and making it a smooth transition. If anyone is looking for a caring, smart, and flexible person to come side your family then Linsey is your girl. Thank you very much!

I hired Lynsey during my pregnancy to be my birth doula for my Hypnobabies home birth. We met several times during my pregnancy, and she was there to support me during my birthing of course. She also did placenta encapsulation for me. One of the biggest benefits she provided for me was helping me to begin my birthing time when I was 41 weeks pregnant and feeling anxious to encourage baby out. She came over and guided me through a ton of different activities to try to jumpstart birthing. My active birthing time began that night, after a few hours of rest. Then, during my birthing time, she was absolutely indispensable. She tirelessly supported me, both physically and emotionally. She made sure I was hydrating and snacking on nourishing foods, she massaged my back during pressure waves, she helped me change positions, she reminded me how amazing I was doing, and so much more. When I wasn't sure I could do it, she cheered me on, and it helped me so much. I wasn't sure that having a doula would be that much different than not, but having had one birth without one and one with one, I can definitely say it was well worth it. Lynsey is so passionate about birth and a wonderful support person for birthing moms and their partners. I highly recommend her!
