When I first met Katia, I knew immediately that she was the right doula for us. Her eyes spoke of a calm and gentle person, and I didn’t realize how true it was until she helped attend the birth of our daughter. she supported me so well in all the prenatal duration from her excellent knowldge of psychology. The birth I wanted did not go the way I planned at all, and unfortunately was full of unforeseeable interventions. Katia, however, stood by my husband and me doing everything she could to make the process just a bit more bearable. She remained level-headed and encouraged us throughout the process, and we know we could not have done it without her! We are so grateful to have had Katia be a part of our birth experience.

Once home, she went above and beyond to help us. She came over to assist us and kept checking on us many times...We so sincerely appreciate all of the knowledge, caring and dedication that she presented as well as her genuine nature and positive attitude. Thanks Katia!!

It was a wonderful experience having Katia as our doula! This being my first pregnancy and labour I really didn't know what to expect. I was full of fear, anxiety and of course plenty of pain. I was so glad to have found Katia's support. She has a very calm, gentle and intuitive approach and I was instantly comfortable with her. She was with me for most of my 36 hour labor, at my home and then at the hospital. She offered some comforting hands on support and massage, along with breathing techniques that were so helpful in keeping me calm and relaxed. Although she was not able to be there for my delivery (I had to have an emergency cesarean), she visited us the next morning and we had a lovely follow up home visit a couple months later. Katia is very kind and compassionat, and we were so grateful to have her support us with the arrival our our son. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her, as any family would be lucky to have her!

Katia acted as birth support doula for the birth of my second daughter and she was absolutely lovely!  I really enjoyed and appreciated her calm energy and proactive approach to making sure I was getting the support I needed during my pregnancy.  Even though this was my second pregnancy, she did a wonderful job of reminding me of relaxation techniques that I had forgotten about.  She was also always ready and willing to come and support me when I struggled and I truly appreciated knowing that she was someone that I could turn to and someone on my team during the labour.  My labour ended up happening super quickly but Katia still stayed for several hours afterwards to make sure I was okay and she took some beautiful pictures of the birth and the family afterwards!  I am so grateful to have had her support and would definitely recommend her doula services.

When I went into labor I called Katia and she got ready and came right away! I didn't want to be alone for my labor as I didn't have much support. She got to my place pretty fast and was very supportive and caring as soon as she walked in ?? she helped me get through my contractions and helping me with my breathing. Anything I needed she was right there and willing to help ?? my contractions hurt alot and was getting them alot for a long time.. And was getting frustrated and wanted drugs but she kept me calm and said I was doing great and she kept encouraging me that I can do this and that this is what I wanted was a natural birth. We had gone to the hospital a couple times thinking my labor had progressed as I was in a lot of pain and feeling alot of pressure and getting very tired but my labor went into Prodomal Labor. I did most of my labor at home with Katia. I was in labor for 54 and half hours and she  stayed with me the whole time which was so amazing of her.  She helped me relax with putting music on i liked,  watching movies,  massaging me while on the Swiss ball,  making me tea, bringing me water or whatever I needed. Katia also took photos of my labor and birth which was very sweet of her to do so I can have those special memories of my son being born. My last birth was a c section due to my daughter being breech and it was a horrible experience for me so this birth was a planned Vbac and was really not wanting another c section. I was able to have my planned Vbac with no drugs and doing it all natural with Katias help. I definitely know I wouldn't have been able to get through this long labor I had and birth without Katias support/helping me.  I would have went to hospital sooner and asked for drugs and lots of interventions would have happened as well I probably wouldnt have has a successful Vbac. I would definitely recommend Katia to anyone that needs a supportive loving and caring Doula ??

We are loving having Katia as our postpartum doula.  She is such a kind and gentle person.  She has adapted very well to our parenting values and our baby loves to be with her.  Katia is doing a lot of household chores for me as well, and her cooking is fabulous!  If I give her a list to complete she is thorough and doesn't need much direction, which I love because I don't want to micromanage anyone ever, much less do I have the time or energy to correct any help I do get.  We wish she was here every day!
