I am so happy I chose Britni to be my birth doula! She helped me prepare for my home birth by meeting with me several times and sending me many helpful resources. She even helped us prepare for cloth diapering our baby by sharing her knowledge from cloth diapering her children. She was always available for questions or support before and after birth.
I had an incredibly knowledgeable and experienced Midwife so I initially wasn't sure that I needed a doula, but now I can say that having Britni there at my birth was definitely worth it! She coached me with gentle words and reassurance through every contraction and helped me to relax deeper between each one. When I began to doubt myself, she gave me the courage I needed. She guided me through position changes that were necessary to get my baby into a better position.
Once my baby was here, she contacted my lactation consultant, newborn photographer, and took my placenta to be encapsulated. She checked in with me several times during those wonderful and difficult first weeks to make sure I was recovering well physically and emotionally.
Overall, I can say with confidence that you won't regret having Britni as your doula! My birth experience was a wonderful one I will cherish forever thanks to the amazing support team I had.

My husband and I recently did a consult with Britni and had a very positive experience! We are not currently expecting but were looking for resources in our area. Britni has done a lot of research and is a wealth of knowledge. She was kind, patient as we had a lot of questions, open and informative in her responses, and really listened to our questions and concerns. We covered everything from the role of a doula, VBAC, Spinning Babies and positioning, induction and monitoring methods, postpartum care, and more. Definitely recommend!

I am so happy that I had Britni as my doula! It was so apparent during my pregnancy/birth how passionate she is about what she does. She had clearly done her research and knew so much about all the things! She cared about me and my wishes/fears/situation and took time to listen to me. It was great to have her wealth of knowledge at my disposal! She was awesome during my labor and delivery. She was a calming presence that continued to support me and give me reassurance during the hardest parts of delivery.

This was my first pregnancy and it was a reassurance to have Britni there to help guide us through the unknown. She maintained a very calm, reassuring presence even during the stressful moments of early and active labor. When I was unable to communicate because of labor pains, she was there to support my husband. Britni also stayed to help me with breastfeeding once my daughter was born. She followed up a week after the birth with a visit to our house. She gave us great information on cloth-diapering and baby wearing that we still use 8 months later. Recommended :) [especially if you are looking for someone able to maintain a calm, soothing attitude!]
