Jenni was amazing to work with. We had an unusual situation. I birthed in California with the support from her in Arizona. I met Jenni in Arizona when I was visiting and she did a private educated class for me to learn all about VBACs. Without her knowledge and confidence, I would have been lost. I had a successful VBAC and I credit a lot to her. She was emotionally by my side the whole time until my labor. I highly recommend her!
I had moved to Arizona when I was 34 weeks pregnant and spoke to Jenni about doula services during my 36th week of pregnancy. She was so kind to fit me into her calendar and alter her services so I could benefit from all the benefits of having a doula. Jenni made sure to constantly stay connected with me during my last 5 weeks of pregnancy. She was available via phone/text 24hrs a day. Jenni provided my husband and I a private birthing class so we would feel ready for anything that could happen during labor and delivery and absolutely everything that could happen happened during my delivery. Jenni was so knowledgeable with her position techniques and keeping me calm. She made sure I understood all my choices and was very supportive of my birth plan, but also supportive of every change that I made throughout labor. She was with me for well over 24 hrs of labor and delivery via C-section and then helping me breastfeed. Jenny also provided me with pictures of my labor and delivery and caught some perfect priceless moments! She also provided me with placenta pills. If you are looking for amazing doula services you can't go wrong with Jenni! She is so passionate and knowledgeable about what she does, but she also makes you feel like a friend instead of a client throughout the process.
Even though we took a thorough childbirth class, we hired Jenni 50% for me and 50% for my husband, so we'd have someone clear-headed in the moment to remember all of the useful techniques we learned from the class. I'm so glad that she was there during my labor, but I think my husband was even more glad! When I started having contractions at home, she stayed in touch with me all day, until it was recommended that we go to the hospital, where she met us. She gave us suggestions of what to do, (walk laps in the hallway, try different positions, etc) would adjust the hospital bed and pillows for me to try different positions, as well as got the labor tub ready for me. She took the lead on all of these things which made it easier for my husband to tend to me rather than worry about the other details. And she even got my him coffee a few times :). It was so nice to have someone there with us, because the nurses popped in and out periodically, but it would've just been my husband and I, otherwise. She was also good at making sure he was the primary support role, rather than taking it over from him. OH and she took amazing pictures of the labor and birth!! I would definitely recommend Jenni!
Jenni Froment is a VBAC whisperer! She was my doula for my second birth and I truly believe it was because of her that I had my VBAC. Her experience and caring is what truly helped me push my baby out. She is amazing at what she does! I always felt she listened to my questions and thoughtfully responded. She never judged and let me design the birth I wanted. She was knowledgeable about birth and was able to calm my fears from my first birth. Plus, she supported my husband as he supported me. We will hands down hire her again!!! She was/is ahhhhhh-MAZING!
I hired Jenni for my 4th pregnancy. I had 3 previous c-sections and was determined to have a birth I wanted for this pregnancy. When I learned I was having twins I knew things would be a tad more complicated but I was ready to face it head on. I knew I would need an extremely supportive team around me. I found a wonderful doctor who walks completely supportive of a gentle c-section but I knew if I were to go into labor, he may not be my doctor and I needed to have someone in the room who would be my advocate. Insert Jenni. Best. Decision. Ever. She was so helpful, supportive, and encouraging during my entire pregnancy. Provided so much reassurance and love when I needed it most. She was so incredibly knowledge and always had answers for me. The day of my delivery went amazing. She was there from the very beginning to the end. Holding my hand, praising me, encouraging me, and reassuring me. She took pictures and captures one of the most healing moments of my life. She also encapsulated my placentas and was extremely quick and kept me notified the entire process.
Jenni is an absolute angel and the only regret I have is not having her at my other 3 deliveries.
Jenni was an amazing support throughout my pregnancy and after. She was quick to reply to all of my questions, even if they were silly. When I found out I needed to change my birth plan and have a c-section, she met us at the hospital for an extra "class" about c-sections and what to expect.
She never pushed her views on us, and let us decide what was best after we had all the information. She has a way with helping you feel comfortable and I can tell she genuinely cares about you and your baby. I recommend Jenni to anyone looking for a Doula.
