I first met Felicia at the free breastfeeding course that she teaches at Tinker. She was kind and full of information, but I didn’t really understand why we needed a course in breastfeeding... it was supposed to be easy and natural.

Fast forward a few weeks and I had a baby who wouldn’t latch. I had a bad experience with the hospital nurses and lactation consultants. I was feeding formula (fed is best) but something told me that I wanted to try breastfeeding again. I didn’t know who to talk to though because I was feeling very discouraged from my earlier experiences.

I remembered Felicia’s kindness and decided to reach out. We talked on the phone and she listened to my story without any judgements. Because of my complicated situation she did refer me to a colleague, but if it had not been for her I would never have had the courage to seek help.

Although I was not officially her client, Felicia has and still is supporting me through my non traditional breastfeeding journey (exclusively pumping). She has celebrated all of the small victories with me and encouraged me to keep going. Almost 8 months strong and still going!

I highly recommend taking her course! Thank you Felicia ??

Felicia was at the birth of my oldest son in 2016. She would have been there for my middle son's birth had she not moved away before he was born. He was a breach baby which meant c-section, so with my third son this past February I really wanted a vbac. Luckily for me we ended up moving to the same base she moved to. So naturally, I reached out to her because I knew I couldn't do it with out here. She was a pivotal part of be achieving my VBAC. She helped me make informed decisions the entire  29 hours we were at the hospital. She is extremely informed on a things evidence based when it comes to laboring. She was able to answer all the questions I had when the nurses and doctors would say something I didn't understand. She respected my birth plan. And was there for me whenever I needed her advice leading up to the birthdate. She is truly an angel. 10 out of 10 would recommend especially if you're wanting a natural birth. Both of my vaginal deliveries were natural and I definitely would have given up if it wasn't for her.

I'm not sure I can do justice with my words! Felicia was wonderful! She was always a text, call, or visit away. I am so grateful she gave me the courage I needed to have the birth I wanted! She was so positive and uplifted me when I was down. She was a huge source of comfort in both my pregnancy and labor! I physically could not have gotten through the pain without her techniques and positive encouraging words. I love the way she incorporated my husband and my family. It was such a beautiful experience with her by our side. It will be such a wonderful investment for your pregnancy and birth when you invest in Felica.

My husband and I loved having Felicia as our Doula! Her services are truly priceless. This was our first pregnancy and the reality and unpreparedness  of delivery hit us in the third trimester . Thankfully Felicia was available at such a short notice to guide us thru this exciting experience.

During labor she did so much to make me comfortable,  guided me thru the pain and thoroughly explained any medication offered by my nurse. I felt at ease knowing she was by our side and trusted her knowledge . Having her there made our delivery experience less frightening.  (She also captured some beautiful photos during delivery!) The day after delivery she visited us and brought me padcicles which she prepared with aloe and witch hazel , they were perfect for my healing! I've already recommended her to two of my pregnant friends and plan on having Felicia as our Doula again in the future. We are beyond grateful for her!

Felicia was absolutely amazing!!! This was my third pregnancy and my second time having a doula. I was able to have a natural vaginal delivery with my second and knew having a doula would be imperative if I wanted to do it again with baby #3. We recently moved to OKC and the next month found out we were expecting. Finding a doula was my priority. I found and met with Felicia before I found an OBGYN. She was beyond helpful throughout my entire pregnancy. Felicia was extremely knowledgeable and leaned on her past experience as well has provided research and other studies.

Having had a doula before she blew away my expectations for support before, during and post-delivery. She was attentive and learned how to read me quickly. Felicia’s ability to be in tune with me allowed her to guide me through different pain management techniques. Felicia also has a large list of techniques to try throughout delivery. Once really unique perk was Felicia took the time to get to know me and my husband so she knew when and where to have him step in and try something versus her. She was great in helping my husband help me.  I know this sounds extreme to say but I honestly can say I enjoyed my delivery. It was a beautiful, natural, experience that I reflect on regularly. My husband and I said we were finished having children but we are having some second thoughts. I can tell you with 100% certainty that if we do have another child it is a requirement to have Felicia by our side!

Thank you so much Felicia!!!

I had no idea what  Doula even was until my wife started bringing it up. Meeting a stranger to discuss something intimate like a birth can be intimidating but Felicia is both professional and friendly.  My wife developed a birth plan and discussed in detail how the process would go, Felicia was there every step of the way to provide additonal guidance and answer questions.  We met up multiple times with Felicia leading up to the birth to continue developing a plan and see how things were going.  You aren't just hiring Felicia to show up for your birth, she will be there every step of the way. There is one single point of this whole experience that solidified my confidence and appreciation for Felicia; the night my wife was induced. We felt bad that she was there away from her family and not getting any sleep. My wife insisted she go home for a few hours and get some rest but Felicia refused and assured us she was happy to be there.  So when my wife started having extremely painful cramps, Felicia jumped right in and absolutely saved the day.  If she wasn't there, I have NO idea what I would have done.  We had music playing, a diffuser going, it was so awesome to see.  She stayed through the night and my wife gave birth the next day in the afternoon.  Just having her there took so much stress off of me, I continued to ask questions and she helped me relax the entire duration.  She will visit a little while after the birth as well to check in on everyone, and will remain a friend for life.  She continues to text us weeks later to see how everything is going.   I wouldn't hesitate to reach out to her again!  So if you're the husband reading this review or you're on the fence about the whole Doula process, just stop.  You will gain such an appreciation for what a Doula truly brings to the birthing experience.  Again, thank you Felicia so much for everything you have done.

Felicia is hands down amazing. Not only did Felicia never leave my wife’s side during her 12 hour labor, she came to our house in the weeks leading up to birth to go through exercises and positions to help my wife get ready for labor. This was our second baby and my wife and I thought we had the whole baby delivery thing down, but Felicia introduced us to so many more comfort measures to practice during labor that ultimately helped tremendously. During birth, I was amazed by Felicia’s dedication to taking care of my wife - she pushed me to be a better birth partner, too. And when we needed to transfer our newborn son from the Edmond birth center to Children’s hospital in OKC, Felicia was there with our midwife to make sure the transition went as smoothly as possible (it did and eventually everything was fine). Felicia is one of those people who have really found their calling as a doula and this is just what she was put on earth to do - and she does it so well. You should definitely talk to her if you are planning to have a baby anywhere nearby.

She was super helpful!! I'm a first time mom and had a ton of questions and she was always willing to text or call me with answers. She was very supportive during the entire labor and checked up on us several times after our little boy came. I'm so very glad she was there to help my husband and I!

With my forth birth, I needed to use Felicia again.  This pregnancy was by far my hardest. I was in prodomal labor for 11 days. 11 days of misery but Felicia was there. We tried everything! She came home from vacation and straight to my house to help. We went swimming. While in labor she was awesome. So much encouragement and everything! This was my second birth with her! She is phenomenal. I love her!

After finding out that my husband would be deployed for the birth of our second child, I knew I would need some additional support in the labor room. I am so glad to have found Felicia. As a fellow military spouse, she knows firsthand the difficulties that come with this lifestyle. She was always available to answer my questions leading up to the birth and was completely on board with whatever I would need for labor and delivery. When it came time for delivery, she was awesome. I am so glad I had a doula for this birth and I would definetely contact her again!

Felicia was so great to work with! I went into false labor 3 times, and she came to our house, and even came to the hospital with us during the false alarms. She was always quick to answer her phone or respond to texts, and she was always super helpful and would check in and follow up with me to see how I was feeling and see how things were going. It was very helpful to have her with us at our labor & delivery, especially since I delivered natural with no epidural or pain meds. We're so grateful we found Felicia to work with, and we highly recommend her!

I met Felicia at a birth workshop on base. I was a little skeptical at first having someone other than my husband in the hospital room with me. However, once we got to the hospital Felicia was great. I couldn't imagine being able to commit to my plan of going natural if it wasn't for her being there and know exactly what to do to counteract the pain. She was full of wonderful ideas to keep my mind off of the pain. She kept telling me how good of a job i was doing and it definitely helped me push through the pain. She taught my husband how to help counteract the pain and with them both there it was a peaceful journey into motherhood. I've already reccomended her dervices to many of my friends that are pregnant. If you are wanting to go all natrual, Felicia is your girl!

We had just moved to Utah. I was pregnant with my 3rd baby and I only had my husband as support. I am not very good at making friends so I was looking for someone to help support me during labor. This would be my husbands first baby so he had no idea what to expect. I was talking to a doula on base and she recommended Felicia because she was in training and she thought it would be a good experience for both of us.

Felicia was always quick to respond to text messages or phone calls. She was airways Wyoming to come over and show me something to help relieve back pain. The closer I got to .you due date she got more ready, asking me if my baby was in position, how my appointment went, and always willing to come over! The night I went into labor, I don't think I could have done it without Felicia. She helped me stay calm and I got the un-medicaded, uninterrupted birth I wanted!

Now, I recommend Doula's to anyone I know that is pregnant and if they are in Utah, Felicia is my go to!
