Liz was an amazing doula! My water broke at 36+6 and she was amazing in helping me figure out when I needed to go to the hospital. We stayed in pretty constant communication while I was being checked in, and she came over as soon as I needed her. I credit Liz for helping both me and my husband stay calm and focused throughout the birth process. I had a really fast labor ~2.5 hours and I was able to get through it because Liz was helping me and my husband figure out what positions and movements provided the most relief. I love that she really knows her stuff, any question I asked her she knew the answer too. Because Liz is also as midwife I was confident that she would be able to help me make the most informed decisions for my hospital birth. I LOVED having Liz as my doula and will definately be using her again for my future children!

Liz made all the difference as my doula in my son's birth.  It was my first time giving birth and I was very nervous and scared but her calming presence just put me at ease.  She is so kind and encouraging and helped me find the confidence in myself to deliver my baby.

Nothing in my birth plan came to pass but she still helped me feel empowered and strong and in control when things were getting difficult at the hospital.

I loved that she got to know me and my husband so that she could know how to help my husband be involved as well as help comfort me and make me comfortable. My husband was even dubious about doulas but after our experience with Liz he is pro doula all the way!

She really goes the extra mile and even gave me a postpartum bag that helped me heal from the perineal tear I had.

I highly recommend Liz and plan on booking her for my next birth!
