Jessica was amazing from start to finish, and the birth of our daugther would not have been the same without her. On our first meeting she impressed me with her professionalism and organization, but also managed to be reassuring and warm. During our prenatal visits she reviewed our birth plan with us, talked about what to expect at the hospital where we were going to deliver, and also provided us with a birth ball for me to use leading up to my delivery. In the weeks leading up to the delivery she would check in periodically to make sure everything was going well, and it was always a comfort to hear from her and express any anxiety or concerns I was feeling.

We elected to labor at home for a while once the contractions started. Jessica used several techniques to relieve the pain, and taught my husband and mother how to provide the same kind of help. She always remained calm and had an answer for what we could do next, but left the choices up to us...it was exactly the kind of support and empowerment we needed.

After getting to the hospital, labor went on for several hours, and I wound up electing to get an epidural (not in the original plan). Having talked to Jessica both before and during labor helped me feel comfortable with this direction. She was always there to help explain things either to me, my husband, or my mother, and took care of all three of us as we waited for the baby to come, making sure we all ate, were hydrating, or were resting when we could.

I would recommend hiring a doula to anyone having a baby, and Jessica would be at the top of my list. She made sure that I knew I could do this, and that I had all the tools I needed to succeed. Anyone who works with her is in fantastic hands.

I highly recommend Jessica! I had my baby early May at 36w 1d, I was really nervous because this was my 2nd baby born prematurely. It was important to me to have an all natural birth since I had an epidural with my last 3 babies. I also have a low pain tolerance and Jessica was able to help keep me calm through breathing techniques. She also taught me various positions to ease labor pains and she taught my husband ways he could help, too. I truly believe I would have given in and got an epidural had she not been there to reassure me that I could do it. If I have another baby, I would hire her again in a heartbeat!

My labor and birthing experience was very laid back and amazing thanks to Jessica. She was there for me with any questions or concerns I had before and after my sons birth. I like others was skeptical on a doula at first, but I'm so glad I gave her a chance. During my labor she helped relax me and talk me through the pain. She helped relieve pain with her techniques and calming nature. When I decided I wanted an epidural (not my original plan) she was there helping me with whatever I needed help with. It was truly an amazing experience and my son came into the world in a calming environment. I wouldn't have made it as far as I did without medication if it wasn't for her laughing with me and guiding me through my labor. I recommend her to anyone! She listened to what I wanted and never tried to steer me away from my decision. Thank you Jessica!

Jessica was absolutely amazing!! I had a planned c-section with my oldest & wanted to have a VBAC this time around. I was extremely nervous about it & was tempted to give in & have another c-section when the pain got to be too intense. Jessica helped me keep calm & thankfully reminded me of my goal. I truly feel if she hadn't been there, I would have given up. She kept me relaxed & helped me with massage, accupressure & other techniques that helped manage the pain. I was in labor for 49 hours & was exhausted but she kept me going. Even when they sent me home to labor there she was in constant contact with me & offered to be here at my house to help me. My daughter was born at 3:20am so it was a very long day & she never left my side. She answered all of my questions throughout my pregnancy & I had tons of them. I would recommend her to everyone. She is fantastic!! I had an amazing birthing experience & I owe it all to her!!!
