Claire’s visits have been a bright spot in our fourth trimester.

With my second child I’ve had to get back into newborn mode while caring for my 2-year-old. Luckily for me, In addition to her clear skill and knowledge of newborns Claire is a natural with toddlers as well.

She helped me establish and work towards realistic sleep goals for the baby, and let me take some time for myself while meeting my toddler’s need for attention. Claire is wonderfully sensitive to finding the best way to be helpful and is a kind, reassuring presence during a sensitive time.

We are so, so grateful to have met Claire and wholeheartedly recommend her services to other families!! <3

Claire was essential in getting our footing at home after the birth of our twins. We knew that we would need a lot of support and help as first time parents of two babies. Claire is knowledgeable, calm, and helpful - everything you would want in someone coming into your home as you navigate parenthood for the first time. Claire gave us the space to focus on our babies by completing household tasks like laundry and food prep, and also the space to focus on ourselves (she held down the fort while we took an epic nap). She also gave us great tips, evidence based resources, and was a listening ear during a time when I was processing my birth experience and had a lot of questions about newborn care. There tends to be a lot of focus out there on pregnancy and birth, but having support during the postpartum period is so valuable. I highly recommend Claire!

As new parents, it's really important to have capabale, calming people in your home. Claire was that and more for us. Total savior for our family! She helped us for four hour shifts during the day several times a week. It was a chance for me to rest after sleepless nights or to head out for much needed errands/personal time. I felt so comfortable leaving my little one with Claire. She was amazing at getting her down for naps and fed. Not only was Claire fabulous with our baby, but she also helped me with laundry and other random things around the house that you just don't have time to do as a new mom. So thankful for the help and sanity she provided!

Claire was a life-saver after the birth of our 3rd child. I had a c-section with a complication that led to a longer recovery time than expected, plus 2 older children at home. Thankfully, Claire had a break in her schedule and was able to help us a few days a week during my recovery. I had not used a post-partum doula for my previous pregnancies but her calm, assured presence put us immediately at ease. She was amazing at anticipating the help we needed and quietly jumped right in -- she came in each morning and checked in with me and the baby. She was a natural with a newborn and a great help with refreshing me on baby basics like nursing, swaddling and sleeping. She also tidied up the kitchen, did any laundry, answered the door when I wasn't able to do stairs, brought me healthy snacks, or held the baby while I showered or slept. And all the while she was great, easy company if I wanted to chat, but also knew when I needed to rest. We were all sad to see her go at the end of her time with us and highly recommend her to anyone expecting a little one.

Claire's peaceful presence was a blessing to me, my husband, and my baby girl in the weeks after she was born. Within a week or so of my daughter and me coming home, I knew that we needed help, especially at night, from someone who understands newborns and new moms. Having no family in town meant it was difficult to get through those first few weeks -- Claire was so genuine, kind, and professional that it made our transition as brand new parents much better.  Claire is a good listener, and very supportive. I felt like I could share with her easily about sleep and other newborn struggles; she always had a word of encouragement, not only to help me in practical terms with whatever issue I was facing, but also to give me a new and positive way of gaining perspective on my situation. I always felt at ease with Claire, and I would highly recommend her to any new mom, especially for one whose family lives far away.
