I am a program manager for a maternity home.  I had a resident who did not have birth support from any family or friends and it was necessary for me to step into that role.  With no prior experience other than the birth of my own 2 children ( many years ago) this was a giant challenge for me.  How grateful I was when Angela offered to assist this young woman in her birth process as a Doula.  Our young mama desired a natural delivery and to decline pain medication.  Prior to her delivery day Angela brought a wealth of helpful instruction to prepare her for the experience.  On delivery day she met us at the hospital and was invaluable in facilitating the birth.  Coaching in the most uplifting and encouraging manner she was 100% engaged in assisting our mama.  To the amazement of the nursing staff, our mama did bring her daughter into the world without medication.  Angela was the "you can do this" voice in the midst of the weariness of labor and I sincerely credit her with the attainment of my residents birth goal. Angela is an "all in" Doula.  She will mirror your own committment to your birthing goals.

Angela is a god sent! I literally can’t express how thankful I am to her! She made my first delivery a memorable one. She advocates HARD for you, she assisted my during my 22 hour labor and never once took a minute off! From assisting me and my spouse up until birth she was working non-stop! Her techniques are top notch and I have to say if you’re on the fence about hiring her just DO IT! Especially if this is your first time around, so much knowledge she has to share. You will not be disappointed , I will continue to hire Angela for any future births! Thank you so much for being there for me and helping me through the intensity of labor! You are the best !!

Angela is a goddess. She is the best decision we made when having our baby. So informative, so encouraging, so reverent of the birthing process. She was not only incredibly supportive, she showed my husband how he could also actively support me during labor. She made our environment peaceful and encouraging. She was our rock! Could not recommend enough! An angel!

Where do I begin. Angela has made our birthing experience memorable. It all started with taking her birthing classes in Lakewood Ranch. She does an incredible job teaching and made all of us very comfortable wile we talk birthing. Once we asked her to be our doula, we had lunch and has been communicating with my wife and I everyday about her health, appetite, sickness, etc, like our own family. Once it was show time, Angela met us in our room with essential oils, calming music, and the best support a partner could ask for. After all of her support during pregnancy and our baby was delivered, she hand fed my wife while allowing me to nap for an hour. At that point, I couldn't believe how incredible and worth it is to Hire Angela as your Dojkula, especially with her very reasonable rates. 7 days after delivery, we hired Angela to come to our house for 5 hours. She drove 40 minutes, brought us donuts, cooked, cleaned, and cooked an incredible home cooked meal for my family.

I highly recommend Angela for all things Doula. 10 stars across the board, and you won't regret it!

I cannot begin to describe how grateful my fiancé and I are to have had Angela as our doula for my Unmedicated birth. Angela is a labor shaman. She is intuitive and incredibly supportive. ’ She comforted and guided me through the entire process. My birth was so empowering thanks to Angela. Anyone who is considering an Unmedicated birth must use Angela!

From the moment I spoke with Angela on the phone I knew we had a special connection. Out of the many doulas I interviewed prior to finding "the one" Angela was the only one who asked me lots of questions about my first birthing experience and was genuinely interested in hearing about my pregnancy experience and birth story. You can tell she absolutely LOVES the pregnancy and birthing journey and how it transforms a woman, and that passion is what makes her stand out. The education I received from her prior to my labor and delivery was fantastic - it was like she knew exactly the info I needed AND what I didn't need. She was also wonderful during my labor and delivery. As soon as she entered the hospital room she got to work rubbing my feet and legs and helping me get into various positions. I am so glad she was by my side (and my feet, and my back!) throughout the whole process. I don't plan to have another child, but if I did I would absolutely want her as my doula again.

FIVE STARS! I was hesitant to hire a doula. I had heard great things, but wasn’t sure if I’d be comfortable having another person in the room during labor and delivery. I also wasn’t exactly sure if it would be worth the money… but after working with Angela, I wouldn’t want to do labor and delivery without her!! Angela is all about movement through labor and providing positive support throughout pregnancy, labor and delivery and postpartum! She’s extremely empathetic and kind. She regularly checks in and is extremely respectful of mom and partner’s wishes. Her style is all about movement and what works best for you. She helped my partner and I dance/move through labor and get baby out safely and quickly. Thanks to her, baby was out so quickly without epidural (And I wasn’t even set on going natural) and I had an incredible bonding experience with my partner! Her presence felt like an extension of our family - not medical staff. She completely changed my views on labor/delivery. It does not have to be a traumatic experience… my labor and delivery was magical and I credit Angela for that! You can’t put a price tag on her services - I’d pay double because of the value she provides. Highly highly recommend to trust her with your labor and delivery process!!

Angela is amazing! We highly recommend her if you are looking for a doula or even if you just want to learn more about the birth process & what your body is going through. My husband & I participated in her 5 birth classes and we had Angela in the delivery room with us for the birth of our first son!  We learned so much during the classes that it really helped us to mentally & physically prepare for what my body was about to go through.  I always thought I would be so nervous & start to panic when I finally went into labor but because of Angela’s help & education I was calm & focused and I knew my body was doing exactly what it was made to do. Because of Angela & the education & support she provided us, I was able to have my son through a natural vaginal birth.  I am so thankful I was able to have a natural birth but I couldn’t have done it without the education & support Angela provided.  If you desire to have a natural birth and/or want to learn about what your body is going through during the birth process, we highly recommend Angela as your birth doula!

I met Angela the end of January, I decided to get her in home class to go over ways for me to deal with labor and how my partner could help support me through an unmedicated birth. This was my 3rd child and I had a little bit of trauma from my previous birth that was a vbac where I ended up having a panic attack during the transition phase and with pushing because I felt everything (though I had an epidural). I was also nervous and not trusting my body since my 2 previous deliveries were pitocin inductions. Angela kept in touch with me through the weeks leading up to my baby’s birth, she would help ease my mind with the doubts and anxious thoughts surrounding the birth. Although I couldn’t hire her as my doula for the delivery (financial reasons), just with the few times I was able to speak with her helped me so much with the delivery of my 3rd child. My 1st I was in labor for 34 and a half hours of labor while on pitocin and ended in a c-section, my second was 23 hours of labor while on pitocin and was a successful vbac, my 3rd was only 8 and a half hours from the time my water broke to delivering him and I only needed a small dose of pitocin during my labor to progress. I also didn’t get an epidural till 30 minutes before it was time to push (didn’t realize I was so close). I still ended up feeling everything during that delivery as well but I was so proud of how far I got without getting an epidural! I was able to handle my contractions so much better than I had in the past because I kept hearing her voice reminding me and encouraging me of what to do to make it easier to cope, that my body was capable of this. I wouldn’t have been able to manage labor as well as I did if it weren’t for her, or mentally handle delivering another baby where my epidural wasn’t working. If I ever have another baby I will definitely be hiring her as my doula and will try for a completely unmedicated birth!

Angela served as our birth doula when we welcomed our first son into the world. If you want to try for an unmedicated childbirth, a birth doula is a must and Angela is the best! I could not have done it without her. Angela offered prenatal and postnatal support that was invaluable as we prepared for our son’s arrival and as we navigated breastfeeding and newborn care. Angela’s private childbirth education class was thorough and informative, leaving my husband and I feeling educated and prepared. Personally, Angela is a warm, calming presence. She seemed to know exactly what to do, when to do it, and how to make us feel comfortable. She worked seamlessly with our medical team. Even my midwife who said she had had negative experiences with doulas before commented that she really enjoyed working with Angela. I was able to labor at home for a few hours, then our son was born within 4 hours of arriving at the hospital. My labor progressed quickly because of Angela’s guidance regarding positioning, movement, and breathing. I had a wonderful birthing experience, in large part due to Angela’s support and care. She is simply the best and I highly recommend her services!

Angela was my doula for the birth of my first baby and she was absolutely amazing.  She was always available to answer my many questions throughout my pregnancy.  Angela checked in on me frequently during my pregnancy and I felt that she really cared about my journey through pregnancy to birth.  We did a virtual childbirth education class with her that taught us many tools to use during the labor process.  Although I had a couple complications during my pregnancy, Angela's positive attitude and support made my pregnancy journey so much better.  As I got closer to my due date, Angela came over a couple times to help me with exercises to help the baby be in an optimal position for birth and to help get labor started since I passed my due date.  When labor started she gave my husband and I great advice on what to in order to labor at home as long as possible.  Angela met us at the hospital and she provided wonderful support throughout my labor.  I honestly don't think I would have been able to get through those difficult surges without her amazing support.  Although my birth didn't go exactly as planned (but then again, what birth does?), her constant guidance and calm manner made me feel grounded and that everything was going to be okay.  She also provided great support to my husband so that he could be an amazing birth partner as well.  After the birth of our son she continued to check up on us and made our family feel so loved.  I highly recommend that you hire Angela as your doula!  My journey through pregnancy to birth to postpartum would not have been the same without Angela, she truly is an amazing doula and wonderful person!

Angela is incredibly gifted in what she does! My husband and I hired her as our doula with our first baby and it was THE BEST decision. We are confident that we would not have had the positive birth experience we had without her help during pregnancy and birth. She is incredibly loving and she has strong intuition. Her unique knowledge of movement from her Dancing for Birth and yoga training were incredibly helpful and she was able to guide me through 5.5 hours of pushing. With her guidance on positioning and how to use my breath and energy, I was able to deliver my little girl who presented asynclitic, posterior, and military completely free of intervention. She helped us achieve our completely natural birth wishes and truly became a special part of our family. If you invest in anything for your birth, let it be in Angela!
