Neta Gotlieb

My husband and I met with Judith through Birthways and liked her approach towards labor. Before I had my baby I sent her my birth plan and she had wonderful feedback, suggesting great ideas and edits. When my water broke and I went to the hospital I was in phone contact with her, she asked questions, expressed her opinion, and gave me advice, some of which I chose to take and some I didn’t. My labor was long and progressed very slowly so my husband and I were exhausted. At some point I sent my husband home to freshen up and prep a few last things for the baby and Judith stayed with me at the hospital. She was attentive to my needs and I felt comfortable having her by my side while my husband was gone. Enabling him to rest was a huge help for us because I needed him fresh, especially when we got to the pushing part. Later on, as the contractions intensified, Judith applied counter pressure on my lower back and suggested different positions to help progress labor. She brought a book with pictures of various positions so I could get ideas and choose the ones that I like. In the most memorable day(s) of our lives, Judith was there for us.
