We were lucky to have Sarah as our postpartum doula, helping us overnight for a few weeks. We cannot put into words how helpful and comforting it was to have Sarah onboard, especially as first-time parents. She gave us lots of tips and advice for our little one and all of the tweaks we implemented helped immensely as he grew and as sleep patterns developed. She also had an introductory meeting with us at home before our baby arrived, which set us up with 101 knowledge from the start and also meant that she was familiar with our family and home before the role even started. Sarah is very knowledgeable in childcare and her colleagues have even referred to her as a walking encyclopedia of childcare - a sentiment we very much agree with. In addition, from very early on, she garners trust and shows she is incredibly reliable, which is key for new parent anxiety... We were sad to have the last appointment end as we wish she was part of our parenting journey even longer, but she has remained in contact and helpful to us over the phone thereafter as a trusted source!

Sarah was wonderful to have in our home. She has a calming presence and I felt at ease with her immediately.  She is a mom of 4 and incredibly kind, sweet and nurturing.  She was helpful when I had questions and gave me detailed notes from the evenings she spent with our baby girl.  I highly recommend her!

Sarah supported me through my first pregnancy and birth and was one of the first phone calls I made when I found out I was pregnant with our second. As a first-time mama and—let’s be real—a second-time mama, I have so many questions and often go down the rabbit hole of internet research. Sarah repeatedly saved me from this fate with her extensive knowledge of maternal and infant health. At certain points in my pregnancies, she encouraged me to stop Googling things, which also helped. Sarah supports her recommendations with research and shares her sources. She provides thorough answers to questions. When she is unable to answer a question, she uses her network to find one. Sarah has given us referrals for many types of providers. From lip and tongue tie revision for our babies to pelvic floor physical therapy for me, Sarah’s referrals have all been excellent (and also safeguard against the internet rabbit hole problem I mentioned earlier). Beyond her knowledge and network, Sarah is kind and a great encourager. Her ability both to inspire and to put you at ease is made more impressive by the fact that she is supporting you through pregnancy and childbirth, experiences that are not easy or comfortable. Sarah’s calming presence and ability to provide effective physical comfort measures empowered me to have two amazing natural births. She helped all members of my birth team communicate and collaborate so I received the best support possible. Sarah is someone I trust and I do not trust easily. I have a particularly hard time entrusting others with the care of my children (just ask my husband about how many babysitter suggestions I have vetoed). I trusted Sarah to help care for our children when they were growing inside me and making their entrances into the world. And I would do it again.

Sarah was a godsend and really such a great support for us! I had so much postpartum anxiety and she really helped calm so many of my nerves and worries. I feel like I was able to recover after an unexpectedly difficult delivery and long inpatient hospital stay with relative ease and I owe that largely to her. Having someone I could ask my billion questions helped me feel more confident as a new mom and she always had such great resources to send me. I want to say again how grateful our family is for having had her as our postpartum doula for this term.

We had Sarah as a postpartum doula, helping us out with night care for our daughter. She was lovely to work with and provided the best gift of all, the gift of sleep. :) Sarah was a wonderful presence in our home with calming energy for us and our daughter. The minute she arrived my fussy baby would quiet down; Sarah is truly a baby whisperer. She is a great listener, and she worked hard to help us how we wanted to be helped, rather than providing her own agenda or telling us what we should be doing. She also provided a loving and non-judgmental perspective. We so enjoyed having Sarah and recommend her highly for postpartum doula support.

Sarah was an amazing post partum

doula. She was with us for 4 weeks and saying she made our transition into first time parenthood easier is an understatement. She is kind, patient, and is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to taking care of newborns. Not only did she help take care of our daughter, she helped take care of us - from organizing the house, laundry, dishes, and best of all - letting us nap. She also helped out at night once a week so we could get some much needed rest and I knew Olivia was in the best hands. We learned so much from Sarah that will benefit us for the rest of parenthood. Thank you, Sarah! We will definitely be hiring Sarah again if we have a second baby!

Sarah was such a calming presence for my husband and me as we prepared for birth and brought our son into the world! She provided so many helpful tips and recommendations and research that helped us to make the best choices for our family. Sarah made me feel confident as a woman and new mom which was truly special. The work she put in helping us to create a birth plan was much appreciated as well as the emotional connection we made. I know that she truly enjoyed being a apart of our birth team and felt so good to have someone supporting us that shared in our joy. I am also so appreciative of the physical support she provided in labor. My unmedicated birth would not have been as peaceful or enjoyable without her there! my husband also appreciated the suggestions she made for him on how he could be the best support person as well. All around, we love Sarah and highly recommend her!
