Birth Fee: $300 to $1600

Fee Details: As a class conscious support person, I strive to make sure that my fee structure is equitable and also urges folks with more privilege and wealth to pay more to support my labor so that my services can remain accessible to class and income disprivileged folks. I also encourage people to take into account their historical class experience and access to resources while making the decision on which rate you will be asking for, especially if you are white, middle class, cisgender, straight. Please get in touch with me for my fee structure. If your total family income is less than $30k, if you are unemployed or underemployed, homeless, are a trans/gnc asylee, live on disability or have any other financial restraints, please discuss with me so we can figure out how to best support you.

Relevant volunteer or advocacy work

In 2014, I was enrolled in the Massachusetts Midwives Alliance Home Birth Midwifery Course and matriculated from this non-accredited program with a grounding in homebirth midwifery. I will not be furthering a homebirth midwifery practice. Within my service year with a federal program in 2016, I helped the health center I work with, along with their clinicians, establish and run a Baby Cafe (a drop in breastfeeding support group). I finished a trauma informed yoga teacher training 200 hr YTT, which me to incorporate somatic and embodied yoga teaching as a part of my healing work. I am an alumni reproductive justice fellow through Corealign called Speaking Race to Power, addressing racial inequity and power dynamics in reproductive health. I am a support person and organizer with the Boston Doula Project, providing free support to those experiencing abortions. Please reach out to me if you are considering abortion and need practical, informational, physical and emotional support.
