I decided to do placenta encapsulation and Belinda was very understanding and accommodating considering my complications and being on bed rest. I thought placenta encapsulation was a little strange at first but I read about the benefits and thought I'd give it a shot. I have to say that I have no complaints and my milk supply is above and beyond what I thought it would be at this point.

If you are even thinking about a Doula or placenta encapsulation I recommend getting in touch with Belinda. I only wish I was told about her sooner, I would have loved to work with her as my support during labor.

I've experienced Belinda's passion for providing the support women need while they're pregnant or giving birth to their little ones or nurturing a new borne. She's a great help, teacher and listener. You won't go wrong by choosing to work with her.

Belinda is a wonderful doula and I am happy to recommend her to anyone who is looking for caring, kind, sweet, compassionate and very knowledgeable doula. Prior to birth she made sure we are on the same page on EVERYTHING regarding birth process. Thanx to her questionaire, I was able to set my preferences, verbalize wishes and concerns, and find main blocks and fears about labor as well as strengths to cope with them. Belinda offered so many pain management tools, that i not only wasn't afraid of labor any longer, rather felt excited about it!

When the anticipated day came, Belinda came just like we agreed, when I felt I needed her. It was early morning , and the pain was too much to deal with on my own. Her peaceful confident presence, compasionate calming eyes, soothing voice made me relax and tune into my body, mother nature and baby who was gonna get born so soon. I leaned against her, she massaged my shoulders, we swayed together, I repeated affirmations after her, visualised positive images she offered, groaned and moaned- again together- all of the above eased my pain tremendously and empowered me both physically and spiritually. If it were not for Belinda, I honestly do not know how I would survive transition at all.

When we got to birth center, I was not surprised to hear I was 10 cm dialated. Pushing was easy, and thanx to Belinda's support, the baby was born within half hour. Though there appeared to be vaginal hematoma after birth and hospital transfer was needed, Belinda stayed by my side all the time warming me with her smile and kind words. She was patient and loving, and very real.

She visited us after birth, and called a few times to check on me and my little angel. If I need advice, she is one of the those i may call any time!

I was very happy to work with her and hope you will be too)

Belinda was an absolutely valuable resource for us before, during and after the birth of our son. First, she consulted with us about her services and style and we knew right away that we were comfortable with her. It was important that we find a doula who was a coach for both of us, as this was our first birth experience. She answered questions over email, text and phone at anytime. She provided me with information, links and resources for any of the questions I had. For example, at 32 weeks, I made the decision to switch providers and she helped me find a provider at the hospital that I want to be at. When I went into labor, Belinda came straight to our home and helped us labor there (this is what we had requested) until we decided it was time to go to the hospital. She was just like a family member in the house and carefully, thoughtfully and thoroughly walked me through each contraction. When we went to the hospital, she also attended for the whole time, walking me through contractions and helping explain my options when any question came up. Her help and advice was perfect!

We would, and will, ask her to be part of our next child's experience, whenever that may be.

Belinda was a great doula with the birth of our twins. She was well informed and supportive of our decisions. She also helped encapsulate their placentas in our home postpartum. She was very courteous and her visits helped our family get acclimated with our newborn.

I would recommend her to any mother for birth and/ postpartum support. Her services were invaluable for my recovery.
