Having Amandine before and during labor and delivery was so helpful. We also had her for postpartum services. Before my due date, I would periodically meet with her, and she was always able to share helpful pregnancy advice. She also gave us a crash course in what to expect for L&D. She also gives great prenatal massages! Once I went into labor, I was in constant contact with her that day up until we were ready for her to come and meet us at the hospital. I ended up having a complicated and scary delivery. Everything worked out luckily in the end. Amandine was there every step of the way to lend a hand and comfort us during the process. She also is great at helping you relax and breathe and a great coach during the pushing stage. Having a doula as an extra partner in the process really helped my husband focus on me and the process too, as having her there took a lot of stress off him. For postpartum services, she was available once we were all at home to help both during the daytime and at night. This is super helpful when you are trying to recover and just need that extra nap and extra set of hands to help with laundry, dishes, small errands, etc. She also is so gentle and experienced with babies. I highly recommend Amandine if you are looking for a birthing and/or postpartum doula!

Many people suggested getting a doula for our firstborn, and we were a little hesitant whether or not we needed one. We had several doula interviews, but when we met Amandine, I knew she was “the one.” We hired her immediately. During the birth, she was calm but at the same time authoritative. She truly served as our advocate in the room- empathetic, attentive and caring. She stood up for what experience we wanted to have, making it her number one priority that my husband and I were well taken care of. She mentioned things to the nurses and midwives we did not know about so that our birth experience was as comfortable and as positive as possible. Her thoughtfulness before, during and after the birth was also exceptional. She was always happy to answer questions or help us find information. We would highly recommend Amandine to be your doula!

Hiring a Doula was one of the best decisions we made when hearing that I was pregnant for my first time. We interviewed quite a few doulas in Nashville and really fell in love with Amandine. Not only was her French accent soothing and comforting, she was warm and treated me like a sister.  During birth she helped navigate the hospitals standards and advocated on my behalf during labor so I could have the birth I wanted.  My husband really loved having a resource to lean on during labor and she gave us space when we needed.  She was so kind to provide notes about the birth in the case I wanted to write my son’s birth story, and offered a lot of help postpartum when I had trouble breastfeeding.  Mama Moon is the best!

Best Decision!!!!! My husband and I interviewed multiple doulas during my pregnancy because we naturally wanted to find the perfect fit. The minute we met Amandine, we knew that we wanted her to be a part of our wonderful experience. Throughout my pregnancy she took the time to check in on me and send me helpful information along the way. By the time I reached 37 weeks she checked in regularly and made sure that I felt comfortable and prepared for the process. At 41 weeks she came to my home, set candles all over our bathroom, ran a warm bath for me and put on a relaxing CD so that I could relax as my contractions became stronger. Once it was time to go to the hospital she provided so much comfort to us as she calmly walked us through what would be happening. Once my contractions became too much to bear, she quickly comforted me and made sure my doctor knew what I wanted each step of the way. My doctor said that Amandine was phenomenal during labor and that she was so impressed with her. Amandine came to my home a week after delivery and checked on us and brought photos from my delivery as well as a little booklet where she documented every moment of my experience. That little booklet is absolutely priceless to me and I can honestly say that having her with us was worth every penny and we would choose her all over again!!

My husband and I instantly felt a calming and nurturing presence from Amandine during our interview. We knew that we could let her into the most intimate time in our lives with our first baby boy on his way. She met us at prenatal appointments, for lunch, and was available 24/7 to us with any questions we might have throughout the pregnancy. The knowledge and reassurance she gave me throughout the pregnancy was priceless as I am vegetarian and was concerned at times with baby getting enough nutrition. She created an environment in which my husband thrived in giving me the best support throughout the pregnancy, birth, and postpartum and quickly eliminated any doubts. During the postpartum she helped out in so many ways but I’m most thankful for having her as an outside source where I felt safe to talk through my emotions and upcoming life decisions. Her tips with breastfeeding were amazingly helpful as well. I highly recommend having her cook you a postpartum meal and getting the crepes. What a special treat during those early postpartum days! Amandine will always feel like a part of our family. Dakota and I will definitely be hiring her again one day. -Dalia (Wife)

Amadine is the BEST. This was my wife and I's first baby. At first we weren't sure if a doula was necessary. Looking back, it was the best decision we ever made. Amadine is helpful in so many ways both prenatal, labour, and postpartum. What we love about her is her calm demeanor, calm voice, happy attitude, and ability to think on her feet in unexpected situations. WE LOVE HER!!- Dakota (Husband)
