Katie is a compassionate, kind, hard working expert at her job. She was always on time, always polite and in a good time, and did a great job by our baby. We are sad she's not still helping us! Thank you Katie!!!

We were first time parents and it took us a week or two of waking up in the night, doing feedings, changing diapers, etc to realize that we could use some assistance.  Especially after my husband went back to work, having some nightime help was such a perk that I'm so thankful we were able to do.  Katie helped our family several nights a week to giving us nightime help for the first 2-3 months after we had our newborn home.  She stayed in our sons room through the night, brought him to me when it was time for his feeding, took him back, changed diapers, etc. It was a blessing knowing that he was safe and was looked after so lovingly. 

She had her own experience as a mother to draw upon, in addition to experiences with other families she helped.  When I would ask for her advice she gave it, but she always gave it as options that we could look into - never that it was the only way.  Our son was having some sleeping issues, and after observing what we were seeing she offered a few suggestions to us.  After our discussion, we went to our pediatrician and we were able to identify that he had a milk protien allergy.  He has since outgrown this but after identifying it so quickly we were able to make changes to his diet that made him a much more productive sleeper - and a happier baby.  

Katy has such a kind and tender style to how she incorporates into your family.  We would have loved to have her stay longer than she did with us, but by then we had gotten over the hurdles of being new parents and were ready to move forward on our own.   We highly recommend her for any family that are either first time parents or just need some extra help juggling having a newborn added to their family.

Katie worked as a night nanny for me from the time my daughter was 1 month old to 6 months old. She had severe health problems and required 24 hour care. It was an extremely stressful time in my life and Katie was the ONLY person besides immediate family I trusted with my daughter. Katie was a Godsend. She was always on time, thoroughly engaged, paid close attention to every instruction, was compassionate and loving to my daughter, and provided me with excellent notes to review in the morning. I knew she was in good hands when she was with Katie and that was the only reason I was able to function during that time. Katie took EXCELLENT care of her. In addition, Katie gave me numerous tips and suggestions to help both my daughter and myself. I fully recommend Katie for work with newborns and children of all ages. I fully recommend Katie for any job that she desires. She is a responsible, trustworthy, loving person.

Katie was a great newborn care specialist.  She helped us at night only.  She was always on time.  She was wiling to follow our instructions - whether it be to be in the room with the baby or to stay out of the room unless she woke up.  We never heard our little one crying.  Katie was always able to address her needs without disturbing us.  She always took very detailed notes that we received in the morning so I was able to flow right into the daytime routine.  I would highly recommend Katie!

Katie was a wonderful help with our newborn daughter. We found Katie through Let Mommy Sleep, an agency of night nurses in Northern Virginia. Katie was always on time, had a soothing presence and was never rushing to leave in the morning. Our daughter was gassy and colicy, and Katie was the only nurse who could keep her happy throughout the night. (Which kept Mom and Dad happy as well!) We absolutely recommend Katie, and if we still lived in the same area, I would be using her for the next baby as well!

Katie was simply fantastic with our little baby boy when he was born. She was so caring and gentle both with my son and with me. She always knew exactly what we needed and was able to read my son - knowing what he needed and when. I could not recommend Katie enough.
