Kat Cannon is a skilled, professional, and personable Birth Doula! She made herself readily accessible for any support we needed and was a pleasure to communicate and meet with during last few weeks of pregnancy once we commenced our relationship. She provided ample relevant and trusted resources on essential pregnancy, birth, and postpartum topics. She lovingly and encouragingly checked in on my status as our estimated due date approached and passed. My husband and I felt very comfortable with Kat from our first meeting as she has a very calming and mellow presence and exudes positive energy. She initiated acupressure during early labor; recommended and assisted as needed with various laboring and birth positions; offered drink, snacks and appropriate amount of encouragement/communication throughout at just the right times without interfering with my progress and concentration. She also provided her exceptional photography services during our baby’s birth day allowing us to capture the exhilaration, intensity, beauty, and joy of our experience. She later followed up the birth with time to process how everything unfolded and discuss any concerns or questions. Kat Cannon is a fantastic partner to have on your birthing team, and we highly recommend her as a Birth Doula!!

Kat was a blessing to have throughout our pregnancy and birth. We immediately felt at ease with her calm and kind spirit. Kat was always happy to answer any questions we had and even met with us to teach us about cloth diapering. In early labor kat came to our home to help stimulate contractions with some acupressure. It was so relaxing and helped to get things going. I am so glad to have had her by my side for our birth. She offered support, encouragment and empowered us before, during and after our birth. Kat helped create a birthing space that was both peaceful and calming. She didn't miss a beat during labor, and knew what I needed before I did. She helped me to find the perfect position to labor in. We are beyond happy with her services and happy to have made a lifelong friend.
