I cannot recommend Jen enough if you are looking for a doula!! Jen was recommended to my husband and I while taking a natural childbirth class and from our first meeting, she put us at ease. Jen met with us a few times before our son was born, going over our birth plan and answering any questions we had. I had a fairly quick and intense labor once we got to the hospital and Jen not only helped to support me but also my husband. She took photos throughout our labor and birth which are priceless and we will cherish forever! Lastly, she met with us postpartum, giving us a labor timeline and again making sure to answer any questions we had – especially about breast feeding. Jen was an amazing member of our birth team and we will definitely be hiring her again for our next child!

WE WILL HIRE HER AGAIN FOR OUR NEXT BABY! We hired Jennifer for the birth of our first child. We were unsure what to expect, or if we even needed a doula. However, our birth experience was amazing and would not have been the same without her. I had a very long labor and Jennifer was at the hospital supporting both myself and my husband for 18 hours. I felt completely comfortable with her and her knowledge was utilized as each decision was made throughout the laboring process. Additionally, her amazing birth photography captured the entire process and we will forever cherish the irreplaceable photographs. Jennifer also documented a timeline of each event that occurred while we were at the hospital. Our daughter had a short stay in the NICU, and Jennifer stayed with me and provided emotional support until she returned. Additionally, after the entire process she stayed to ensure breast feeding questions were answered. I cannot say enough about how compassionate Jennifer is about her supporting parents through the birthing process and her passion is very evident in her work. She is highly recommended!

Excellent! Jenn was supportive and helped me prepare for the birth by answering questions and attending classes with me. During the birth she was exactly the type of support I needed. She helped me stay calm and coached me through it. I'm so thankful I had Jenn there to help me!

Jenn and I had known each other through our community and she had taken our family pictures. She was an easy choice to be my doula and I was happy to have her by my side. She was always caring and willing to listen to my pregnant meltdowns, she suggested things to help me that I knew but totally forgot about. She was great at calming me down even before birth day. She helped me to listen to my instincts, as I switched from a homebirth to a hospital birth in the third trimester. I eventually ended up with a scheduled cesarean due to complications, which ended up being a blessing! My little girl had two knots, one of which tighted completely during delivery. The OB had to untie it to respect my wishes to let it finish pulsing. Jenn was there for me even though I ended up with a surgical birth and she helped me to keep things in perspective. She came my second day in the hospital and sent my husband home for a shower and nap and stayed with me. She really helped me process, as this was obviously not my picture perfect birth I had wanted. She let me be angry, sad, or just pissed when needed. She didn't dismiss my feelings like many others did by saying "just be happy she's here now". I would highly recomend Jenn! She's a gentle, wise, wonderful woman who I'm blessed to call my friend now :)
