Cassie was an amazing doula and we are so happy to have had her help us through the birth of our baby girl.  With it being our first baby, and not knowing what to expect, etc., Cassie was AMAZINGLY informative and helpful throughout our prenatal visits.  She helped provide us with information about various techniques and tools that can be used so that we could build our birthplan together - and was extremely supportive when our birthplan didn't go quite as planned.  Due to a medical issue, I ended up having to be induced (rather than laboring at home) and Cassie was there to help keep me and my husband calm throughout the inducement and she performed the miles circuit to help make sure my baby would be in the right position once labor really got going after the pitocin kicked in.  Once labor started and I was feeling contractions, Cassie being right there was even more essential than ever.  She helped me breathe through my contractions which helped my husband to be able to support me in making sure I was comfortable, etc.  She made our delivery the most pleasant experience.

Once we returned home with our new baby, Cassie visited us for a post-partum check in and she provided a great timeline of our birth story as well as great information for support as new parents.

We highly recommend Cassie!  She is calming, reassuring, supportive, sweet, smart, knowledgeable, professional - I can't say enough good words to describe how great she is!

Cassie is an amazing doula.  She was professional, sweet, and competent, and she helped us achieve the natural birth experience that we wanted.  She took the time to meet with us a few times before our due date, so that we felt comfortable with her and she understood our birth plan.  She suggested different laboring positions that we could try, and introduced us to the TENS unit.

Even though I wanted a natural birth, I was nervous about the pain of labor.. but Cassie helped to instill confidence in us and she provided a much needed sense of safety and support during the whole process.  I also appreciated that Cassie was flexible with our appointments and available when I needed her during pregnancy.

Overall.. I had a really positive birth experience and a fast recovery time, thanks to Cassie.  From the time that we checked in to the hospital, Cassie was there.. and she stayed the entire time, providing comfort and advocating for us, ensuring that our birth plan was followed as closely as possible.  Both my husband and I are so grateful and thankful that she was our doula.  I would highly, highly recommend her to anyone looking for a doula.

From our first email conversation to our final closing visit, Cassie was the most supportive and amazing doula we could have ever asked for. Through out my pregnancy she was always available to answer questions or reassure me. We talked through many different labor and delivery scenarios as well as coping mechanisms and developed a list that was most comfortable to me. Cassie was a pillar of comfort and calm throughout my very fast labor and delivery. After explaining scenarios about when to head to the hospital, she encouraged our decision to head over there and met us there as soon as possible after being admitted. She guided and encouraged my husband in his efforts to be fully present and supportive. Cassie helped advocate for the things in my birth plan and was even able to capture birth photos.

Cassie was also our postpartum doula. She stopped by the day after getting home from the hospital just to see how we were doing as a new family. Each visit Cassie made sure that my needs as a new mom were taken care of so I could better bond with and care for my new son. She helped with nursing, infant care, and always reassured me that I was doing a great job. She offered different techniques and ideas regarding questions I had. I could have not asked for a better experience into parenting and can't express how much I appreciate the support she offered. I would recommend Cassie to anyone looking for a birth or postpartum doula!

My husband and I are so appreciative of Cassie's support at our son's birth. She was knowledgable, explained medical decisions we faced in a way we understood and was oh-so-supportive.

Due to a sudden spike in my blood pressure, we went to the hospital to be induced. My doctor had walked us through what would happen when we arrived. But the nurse thought another course of treatment would be better. I wasn't happy about this potential change in my treatment plan. Cassie was able to talk us through to our options and help us decide what course best met my needs.

Throughout my entire labor, Cassie was very supportive, calm and nututuring. She helped guide my husband so he was the same. Prior to labor, our pre-meetings also helped to ensure that we were able to have the delivery we wanted to have.

I highly recommend Cassie.

I can't say enough nice things about our experience with Cassie. We interviewed Cassie early on and were immediately impressed with her confidence and knowledge. We interviewed several other doulas and Cassie clearly stood out as experienced and ready to help us tackle the challenges of birth.

As the mom, I was very grateful for our pre-birth meetings where Cassie walked us through making a birth plan and discussing the realities of comfort measures and how I prefer to be comforted and treated when I'm in pain/stressed/overwhelmed/needing to make medical decisions. Cassie was there from the second contractions started getting serious and stayed with us for almost the entirety of my very long labor. (We did send her home at one point to get some sleep when I was doing the same). She was so supportive and encouraging and extremely helpful when I needed to make tough decisions as things didn't progress the way we planned. Cassie helped walk us through our options and helped us communicate better with the midwife. When I didn't feel like I could keep going, Cassie was there with encouragement and suggestions, always positive and always confident.

Best of all, Cassie set my partner and I up for success as a team. Cassie supported my partner in supporting me. She was right by my side when I needed her and stepped back when it was appropriate. She encouraged my partner to eat and drink and sleep and he was able to be there in full when I needed him.

Since the birth (5 days ago), Cassie has come for a home visit where she validated and normalized our new parent experience and feelings and helped clarify all our post-birth instructions (the nurses definitely told us some stuff, but I am pretty sure my brain only retained about 10% of what they said). I look forward to our next visit where we will process what happened during the birth.

In summary: Cassie is amazing and I would highly recommend her.

Cassie is an excellent, very caring doula. From the moment we met her, we were impressed with her reassuring, confident and nurturing demeanor. Cassie supported my husband and I as we welcomed our identical twin boys, Erik and Noah. As first time parents, we appreciated her ability to walk us through the various labor and delivery scenarios and help us develop our birth plan. We met with her in person twice prior to delivery. She was prepared, knowledgeable, and great at catering information to our needs. As our birth plan completely changed due to complications, Cassie was also there every step of the way with reassuring phone calls, additional informational resources and special visits to the hospital.

Cassie was exceptionally helpful after the c-section! She stayed with me for most of the day - her presence and helping hand helped me through in ways I wouldn't have anticipated. I can't imagine how we would have got through the day without her. Cassie also made an at-home visit post partum. She shared much of what she's learned through her work with other families with twins and is always looking for what works for people that she can share with other moms and dads.

My husband and I can't give a higher recommendation for Cassie...especially if you are expecting multiples!
