Attends hospital births? All Hospitals
I will be there in whichever setting you choose to birth in. My path as a doula started in an OB-Gyn office that allowed me to attend births at the a Boston hospital with my doctors. I feel like it was a really special relationship seeing people in the office at all of their visits and then be there for their births. I also had the advantage of being in the OR with many of my Cesarian clients.
Attends birth center births? All Birth Centers
I will be there in whichever setting you choose to birth in.
Attends home births? Any Home Birth
I will be there in whichever setting you choose to birth in. I fell in love with the rhythm of birth in attendance of a home birth.

Maria is absolutely amazing. My labor was 31 hours. It was long and very exhausting. Almost every step of it was opposite of what I was hoping for. Maria helped coach me through it the entire way. She was at my side cheering me on and helping to give me the courage I needed. I would highly recommend her. She will definitely be my doula for our next baby as well. My husband and I both immediately clicked with her when we met! We love Maria!! ??

As a young, first time mother – I was very intimidated by all things pregnancy, especially including delivery and post-partum care. I was referred to Maria by a friend of mine, and I am forever grateful for her comprehensive support that she provided me and my husband. Hospitals and doctors naturally make me uneasy and Maria was there to make the whole process not only easy, but actually pleasant! It was wonderful to have her by our side to advocate for our needs, and throughout the whole process she reminded us that we are in control and that we have options.

Maria has plenty of strengths, but her gentle and encouraging presence is certainly her strongest attribute. Throughout hours and hours of contractions, Maria helped me remain strong, confident, and comfortable. She was also a wonderful support to my husband, and taught him how to support me throughout the process. I really enjoyed how she included his needs in our plan as well – otherwise my husband might have felt so much more lost! We truly felt like a team.

While I was in delivery, my grandmother was actually passing away at the same time and she extended her services to help my family as well. Although it was messy, fully of drama, and not in her “job description”, Maria went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I stayed focused and on track with our plan.

My husband and I try to picture our labor without Maria, and we chuckle and dread the thought. She had ideas to help open my mind and body and was never offended when I said offensive things. She rolled with us like water. While you couldn't pay me to relive this experience, it was one that has shaped my every day since. Maria is forever intertwined in our precious family.
