Laura was truly a blessing for my family. I don't know how we would have weathered my long labor without her. I was a first-time mom and didn't know what to expect, and she helped me cope every step of the way - along with providing my husband the emotional support he needed. She is rock solid, and her coaching and encouragement was instrumental in getting our daughter here. Laura is a strong and unflappable person, and my husband and I will always be grateful to her. Her patience, endurance, tenacity and tenderness helped guide my birth. On top of that, Laura has a great sense of humor and a fun personality, and I found myself unexpectedly cracking wise with her during contractions. Laura followed up with me multiple times after the birth to ensure I was adjusting OK, and she helped me with several baby related referrals. I can't say enough good things about her, and we are so glad for her. Thank you, Laura!

Laura is such an amazing doula! She was willing to drive a long distance to be there with me - leaving as soon as I texted her. This was my first child and my husband and I were pretty nervous when it was "showtime." He didn't know what to do other than look at me with pity and hold my hand. Laura was there to help with my anxiety and guide me through this very scary and emotional time. She gave me water and massaged my back. She helped me communicate with the nurses and doctors and guests. She didn't leave until I was ready. My husband even made sure to thank her personally over and over again, saying "You really made a difference in there." And she did. I know that Laura will be there for the birth of every future child I have.
