Lisa was an extremely calming, reassuring, knowledgeable and experienced set of hands during an overwhelming time following delivery and into the "4th trimester." She has since taken great care of our son; allowing us to get much needed sleep with a peace of mind! 12 weeks flew by and we wish we could keep her forever! We couldn't have imagined the first few months without her support! Thanks for everything!

Lisa has been such a wonderful asset in our postpartum experience so far. We hired her to help overnight in the hospital post c-section. All I remember from our hospital experience with our first child was how exhausting and overwhelming it all was but with Lisa there this time the experience was calm, supportive, and I actually got some sleep! She was so good with our newborn that I barely heard a peep out of her all night except for feedings. I felt confident that she was in good hands and I was able to rest. Lisa was able to answer my questions about recovery and breastfeeding and share her own experiences with me. Once I got home and was having trouble with breastfeeding I reached out to her first and she was able to provide me with support and the resources I needed. She even brought me her baby scale to put my mind at ease about my newborn gaining weight. Having her help us overnight at home brought a sense of calmness and companion during the lonely overnight feedings. I would highly recommend Lisa to any new mom. She is an incredible resource and truly wonderful with newborns. I only wish we had used her with our first child!

I cannot begin to tell how positive my experience with Lisa was!  We hired her as we have no family in town to help - I envisioned her being an extra pair of hands for duties around the house and helping with the baby so I could rest. She did those things, but so much more! She is extremely knowledgable with all things baby, and this was invaluable to me as a sleep deprived, first time mom with a lot of questions.  Lisa encouraged me to call or text any time with questions and was responsive in a timely manner. She would also follow up to see if the information she provided had been helpful, or if we needed to try something else.  And the information she provided always synced with what the pediatrician told me.

I used Lisa 1-2 times a week for a few hours each time.  I would usually spend 30 minutes talking to her and asking questions, then she would do light housekeeping (empty the dishwasher, vaccum, laundry, washing bottles and pumping parts, etc.) and keep the baby while I rested.  When she would finish what I had asked, she would take it upon herself to find other things to do. She was absolutely wonderful with my baby, and I completely trusted her with him.

I highly recommend Lisa, even if you do have family in town. Having someone "on call" who can help with the baby questions was fantastic!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Lisa!!! She is absolutely amazing and so good at what she does. Lisa was there for me every step of the way through my struggles with both being a new mom and with PPD. Lisa never pushed me in a direction to do something a certain way when I had questions about my little one. On so many nights, we would stand in my kitchen and she would openly listen to me as I drowned her with questions and concerns (& tears!) of being a new mom. In these times, she would offer her knowledge and any suggestions she had but was never pushy and would always advocate for me as the mom. On top of being a new mom, I suffered from extreme postpartum anxiety. It was so refreshing the nights Lisa would come because she has a very nurturing & calming nature about her. She listened, offered resources when needed and supported me every single step of the way throughout the "4th trimester." Before Lisa came, my daughter was both colicky and not sleeping at all (days or nights). Lisa took time to help me develop an eat/sleep schedule. She was readily available to help me with this. Lisa offered her guidance during the day as well and I could reach out to her when I was feeling overwhelmed or I needed help adjusting my babies schedule. I had a total breakdown one morning and she talked me through it over the phone as she was getting her own little ones ready for school! In her time with us, she was totally dedicated to our family. By the time Lisa left us, my little one was having much happier days and sleeping through the night! Lisa was like a little angel that flew in at the exact time I needed her and stood by my side until I could get my mommy feet on the ground. For any moms looking for a doula, Lisa is the absolute best!!

An all-around gem of a person, Lisa took exceptional care of my newborn several nights a week during the first couple months. It was a very sleep-depriving time and I'm grateful to Lisa for the sleep i was able to get while she held the baby or helped rock her back to sleep. When baby slept she would help with laundry, dishes, tidying the playroom, etc.

Something I especially like about Lisa is her passion and curiosity to learn more about about infant and maternal care. She knows a lot about breastfeeding, infant massage, and was also a tremendous help when I dealt with physical problems and aches postpartum.

Her calm presence is a super quality to have as a postpartem doula and I highly recommend her!

A friend told me about how helpful Lisa was to her so we decided after an interview to work with Lisa. She was very knowledgeable, and if she didn't know an answer offhand, she would get an answer within an hour of leaving. She was available any time for text questions too. She was willingly flexible for my schedule and needs and was ready to help with anything i asked. Would recommend!

Worth her weight in gold! Having Lisa come in to our home was the best decision we ever made concerning welcoming a newborn. She brought peace and calm into the house that would relax me during stressful moments. She's easy to talk to and joins right into whatever is going . She was fantastic with our two toddlers and her peaceful attitude was incredible with our newborn. Each day she would come over and start helping with whatever needed doing, she noticed dirty dishes and laundry, she played with our older kids, and suggested I take a nap or shower!  I  wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone, she was the greatest help I could have had in adjusting to three kids!

The night we brought our first child home from the hospital was sleepless and frantic for both me and my husband.  i was recovering from an unplanned c-section and my husband and I didn't know what to do to soothe our crying newborn.  The next day I was in search of a postpartem doula to help us with breastfeeding, soothing our baby, and getting some much-needed rest!  Lisa was recommended to me and she was just the support we needed!!  She was able to come that evening to give me some tips on feeding the baby, swaddling, and a nighttime routine.  My husband and I took a glorious two-hour nap while Lisa cared for our son.  It was exactly what we needed to get us through those first few days and weeks of adjusting to life with a newborn.  I highly recomment Lisa's services!!

The most valuable aspect of lisa's support was Knowing our baby was in good hands while i got several hours of uninterrupted sleep, which was priceless! we were able to take many of the things Lisa did for us and implement them as time saving stratigies especially during night feedings which was a sanity saver! Lisa was knowledgeable, profesional, and supportive.overall the experience was excellent!
