Celisa assisted in the birth of my first daughter.  She was attentive and provided a sense of stability and calm to an otherwise difficult labor.  She saw my daughter before I did, and she cut the cord.  I am very grateful for her being a part of my birth experience.

So glad I chose Celisa to be my doula. As a first time mom, I was very overwhelmed and unprepared for how birth would REALLY go. She always made sure I felt in control and heard by both doctors and nurses. She kept my head on my shoulders and guided me through, what ended up being, a c-section.

After the birth, she also encapsulated my placenta and took it upon herself to make me some "mother butter" and she preserved my son's umbilical cord. I would highly suggest to anyone! Thank you again for all your help. The encapsulations REALLY helped rebalance my hormones (I saved some in the freezer for menopause too) and the mother butter, I feel, significantly helped with the fading of my scar.
