I can’t speak highly enough of my experience with Angela and the benefits I enjoyed with placenta encapsulation. Angela took great care of my placenta, picking it up from the hospital right after birth. She brought the capsules to my home shortly after I got back from the hospital (along with a beautiful print and cord keepsake). Her instructions for using the capsules were very clear, and the results were amazing!

With the placenta pills, I had so much more energy after birth than I did with my first daughter, which was needed considering that I had a very active toddler and a newborn. I healed so much quicker and was able to get up and moving fairly soon after delivery. Overall, I felt that the placenta pills were a huge part in my positive postpartum journey. The care Angela took with my placenta was phenomenal and I would highly recommend Angela for this service.

Angela is an amazing doula! Because of her incredible assistance, guidance, and calm, positive demeanor, I was able to have a completely unmedicated birth, which I was not able to do with my first child with no doula.

She educated my husband and me through the whole birthing process and was very knowledgeable about what to expect at all stages of labor, including postpartum. She made us feel comfortable about decisions that would be asked of us before, during, and after birth and provided us with informative resources to help guide our decisions.

While I was in labor, Angela knew many different techniques to help ease my body and mind through the intense labor. She encouraged me throughout and provided an incredible support for both my husband and me.

Her passion for this work is very obvious in the way she genuinely cares about her clients.

I honestly believe without her, I would not have been able to go through labor unmedicated. We cannot say thank you enough for being such a great support throughout my pregnancy and after!

Angela was a wonderful resource during my pregnancy and provided fantastic support once the big day arrived.

Before my daughter was here, she helped me figure out my baby's location and suggested stretches and postures which encouraged my baby girl to move into a better position for labor. She was also full of great advice about remedies for nausea, back and leg pain and other common pregnancy ailments. She also visited a few appointments with me to support me and to get to know the midwife team that would be delivering my baby, which I really appreciated!

My contrations were immediately between two and three minutes apart when labor began. We called Angela and she was on her way over immediately. When we got to the hospital, she guided and encouraged me through two grueling hours of labor before I was admitted - I wasn't dilating past 4 cm - and I'm convinced that it was her encouragement through multiple sets of stairs and squats that gave me the energy I needed to withstand those contractions! When I was finally admitted, my labor progressed very quickly and she was my primary support all the way through transition. Near the end of transition, I made the decision that I wanted an epidural. Angela made absolutely sure that was the route I wanted to go, but didn't once scold me or tell me I was making the wrong decision. She was supportive right through the delivery of my daughter, and stayed with us for several hours afterwards to make sure that all three of us were okay.

She continues to be a resource to us now that our daughter is here. As a mom herself, Angela is full of excellent, gentle advice on all sorts of childcare concerns. I love that I can call or text her anytime I need some help or even just a little mama support, just as I was able to during and after my pregnancy! I consider Angela a friend as well as a fantastic doula. I would recommend her whole-heartedly to anyone in the Seattle area!
