Jamie is such a wonderful human being.  Her care and attention during such a hectic and sometimes scary and vulnerable time is a true value.  She always sent literature or was there whenever I needed her.  She’s become a wonderful dear friend of mine and my children .  I was preparing and became a single mother to twins.  She never once showed any iota of judgement when it came to my questions, concerns or decisions I was making. She kept me feeling confident in my abilities as a new Mother. Her energy is calming and gentle.  i can not recommend her enough.

I expected the transition from one to two children to be difficult, but Jamie made life for my family so much easier during that adjustment period. Jamie not only took care of our needs (often anticipating them before we knew what we needed ourselves), but she also was there offering support and guidance when we were trying to manage a newborn and a toddler. Her steady reassurance and caring nature made her time with us something I looked forward to personally, as well as a relief from the stresses of those early weeks as a new parent to two children instead of one. I relied on her as a resource for more parenting questions than I care to admit because she was always knowledgeable and thorough in her responses, offering me choices and answers that worked for my family. Jamie was all about strengthening our growing family and helping me feel confident going forward on my adventures in motherhood.

Jamie provided us with a support network and resources that helped us really enjoy our baby’s first three months.

My husband and I had no idea what a post partum doula did exactly, but we knew that we would need support. Both my husband and I did not have family close by, nor did we have experience caring for a newborn. Jamie provided more than support; she was a link to the outside world, another pair of arms to cradle our baby, a baby wearing instructor, provided peer support with breastfeeding, ensured that we ate fruits and vegetables, helped us with cloth diapering, washed load after load of dishes and laundry, and danced our fussy baby to sleep. She did all of this for three months with unfailing kindness.
