Samantha is an incredible doula! My husband and I both agreed that she was indispensible during my pregnancy, labor, and delivery. I had a very long labor and she was always available for support while I was laboring at home. She was with us for my whole 12 hours at the hospital, providing support, encouragement, and reassurance. She validated what I was feeling and helped me feel comfortable with my decisions. I'm absolutely convinced that without her support, I would have had lots of interventions that I didn't want, and I probably wouldn't have been able to deliver vaginally. I can't recommend her enough!

Samantha is an excellent doula. We met twice with her before the birth of our daughter and she helped by answering all of our questions and provided us with great advice. When the day came, she was by our side when we needed her and helped coached us through our long labor and delivery. She is very kind and knowledgeable. She is down-to-earth and not at all judgmental. I highly recommend her!

Our experience with Samantha as our birth doula was truly amazing! This was my husband's and my first birth, so obviously very nervous/apprehensive with the unknown of how this would go. Our goal was to have as minimal interventions as possible but were open to being flexible given never experiencing birth before. Samantha was so supportive of our plan/choice from day one, and empowered us with information and education so we could decide how we wanted our birth to go.

She was so supportive and wonderful with my husband and made him feel empowered to support me during labor. And while my labor was long (24 hours!) there was never a moment I didn't feel supported and assisted by either of them.

Our pre and post natal meetings were also so informative and really helped before the birth and after we brought our baby girl home.

Samantha is amazing! It's hard to know where to start with accolades for just how wonderful our experience was with her!

My husband and I sought out a doula because we wanted as much support as we could get in our birth. We delivered in a hospital and had a primary goal of wanting to avoid unnecessary interventions. Samantha was incredibly supportive of our wishes from the time we met and all the way through the birthing process.

Another huge reason why we wanted a doula was for the support for my husband. My husband is a wonderful partner. However, he has a tendency to become very stressed out and “freeze” when placed in high pressure situations. During labor, he was absolutely amazing. He surprised me and himself with how calm, focused, and supportive he was for me. He and I agree that his demeanor had everything to do with Samantha. He felt an incredible calmness knowing she was there to provide suggestions, let him know that some things are "normal", be another set of hands to help with comfort measures, and just provide a physical presence. His support for me during this time was truly beautiful and a bonding experience for us- we have Samantha to thank for that!

Beyond providing my husband support, she was a wonderful and calm presence for me as well. Anytime an intervention was being suggested, I looked to Samantha. She was right there providing us with knowledge or questions to ask of our medical team so that we could ultimately make the decisions that were best for me and baby.

Samantha was the ultimate birth coach during the pushing process. Delivering my daughter was the best part of my birthing experience. Her encouragement and support helped me to keep my focus and make every last push count. Without her, I know I would have not have the same incredible experience.

Samantha was truly a blessing to us! We will no doubt be using Samantha at the birth of our next child!

Samantha was my doula for my second birth, I had such a great experience with her I wish I would have known her the first time around. I ended up being admitted and in labor 2 weeks before my due date, I was attempting a VBAC and my biggest fear was feeling pressured into a repeat c-section. Being in labor and postpartum, I feel is one of the most vulnerable positions a person can be in and when you have doctors (people who "know best") encouraging interventions you don't feel comfortable with it's easy to just give in- not to mention I was just really excited to have my baby here-and because of Samantha I was able to stay focused on my birth preferences, she kept me grounded, level-headed and totally sane! After 18 hours of no progression, more than one doctor wanting to intervene, not being allowed to eat or leave the labor and delivery floor she helped give me the courage to go home and give my baby more time. She gave me the encouragement that my baby would let me know when she was ready to come. I went home, slept 12 hours and walked around for 2 weeks dilated to a 5. This experience was such a mind game for me and having Samantha there to answer my texts and phone calls, no matter what time of day was priceless. Two weeks later, one day after my due date, my baby girl was born, vaginally and every one of my birth preferences were met. I have Samantha to thank for making my birth experience everything I had dreamed of! I feel like I have such a special bond with her and know that I can call or text her anytime and she'd be more than happy to connect with me. Icing on the cake- my waters broke all over her and she still stuck around (I don't know if I could have said the same about my partner :)).
