We are so thankful for Angie!

Our dream was to have a totally different birth experience than we had with our first two kiddos. Angie helped make it happen. She answered our constant questions, educated us on the ins and outs of natural childbirth, and prepared us for any variables that may come up. My husband and I went into this birth feeling ready and empowered.

Our baby had her own plans - labor and delivery was fast and furious. We barely made it to the hospital and unfortunately nobody else made it in time. Angie had done such a fantastic job preparing us that we were totally ready and okay on our own, though we did miss her gentle reassurance.

Angie was flexible and completely shifted to fit our new needs. She remained willing to explain and reassure as much as we needed.

Angie was truly a blessing to me and my family. I am so thankful for her helping to make our dream come true.

Angie served as our Doula 3 years ago and we have been friends ever since. She has such a big heart for babies and helping bring them into this world. Her fee is so reasonable considering the care and support she gives leading up to the birth of your baby and even after. To this day, I can call her and she will answer any questions or support me in whatever way I need in my parenting journey. With Angie we not only got a Doula but we made a new friend. Someone I will keep in touch with for the rest of my life.

I cannot recommend Angie highly enough. There is no way I would have had the calm, amazing birth I wanted without her. She was  quiet and knowledgeable and stayed with me every step of the way, Angie also helped my wife stay calm and showed her how to support me in labor, both by meeting us beforehand and making suggestions during labor. Her double hip squeeze was legit! I would 100% recommend her to anyone, regardless of the type of birth they are having.

I was lucky enough to book Angelica in the busy month of September. From the beginning she made it very comfortable to share my birth vision. Having two children already, yet never having an unmedicated birth, I felt like a new mom. Angie shared her thougths and her time without ever making me feel rushed or silly. She asked questions I hadn't thought of, and helped me cover all of my bases so things could go as smooth as possible during labor. I was confident that I could make it through with her support. While I was pleased and blessed that my labor happened in a flash, there was no possible way Angie could have made it to the hospital in time. (I nearly didn't make it.) But she stayed and was a wonderful help after delivery. She captured moments for us we would have otherwise not captured. She celebrated our son's birth and health with us, while providing much appreciated help after delivery. I was grateful for her assistance and knowlege through our pregnancy and after delivery, and how she always made me feel comfortable. Angelica was extremely thoughtful and while my son had his own idea of when he came, she was very much part of bringing our son into the world.

I would definitely recommend Angie to anyone looking for a doula. My first experience with labor was amazing, and I feel like Angie was an important aspect of that. My husband and I decided to hire a doula after taking a birthing class and realizing how clueless about the birthing process we both were. Neither of our families were able to join us and we wanted someone there who could be our advocate in an unfamiliar experience. We met with Angie three times before the birth of our daughter and once after. We did have to reschedule several of these meeting due to both of our busy schedules. She gave us a brief idea of what to expect and helped me write a birthing plan to make sure I knew what I wanted. Due to Gestational Diabetes complications, we were induced at 38.5 weeks. Angie stopped by the night I was admitted just to check up on us and then came back the next day. It was a long day and I am so glad Angie was there. Instead of sitting around waiting, she helped me feel proactive. She encouraged me to ask questions and to move around. I never felt judged or pushed into something. She asked what I wanted and helped make sure I got it. In the end, she felt more like a friend than someone we hired. If you are looking for a doula and a great birthing experience, I would definitely go with Angie!

On May 16th 2016 I gave birth to a happy and healthy 9lb 2oz baby boy. This was my first child and I was truly lucky to have the love and support, not only from my husband, but from Angie as well. I wanted to go as natural as I could, because I wanted to experience as much of the birthing process as my body would aloow me to handle. If it wasn't for Angie and my husband I don't think I would have been able to endure any of it. She made me feel strong, confident and helped me feel like I could do just about anything. Angie made the whole process easier to get through. She helped me through the contractions and talked me through the pain when I didn't think I could. I don't think I could ever thank her enough for helping me through such a beautiful experience.

When I thought about having a doula for the birth of our second baby, there was not a doubt in my mind about who to hire. Angelica is a very sweet, knowledgable, and genuine person. She was attentive, and supportive through out the pregnancy. It was imperative that my husband and I have support from someone non-medical since we were seeking a pleasant experience that we did not have with our first baby's birth. Angelica's comforting personality brought a sense of calm to our labor. Her positivity coached us through a natural VBAC. I can't imagine not having her there to talk me through the contractions when I didn't think I could do it. Angelica is an amazing Doula, I wouldn't change a thing about my labor and I credit her for that. I highly recommend her!
