Angie was my doula for our first born, Drayce. I can honestly say she is the best around. My plan was to go all natural with my birth but when my blood pressure spiked my doctor told me I didn't really have an option. Angie was there encouraging and supporting me through it all and knew what to do to help me and my husband get through our first birth. To this day, she stays in contact making sure our family is doing well and we love her so much for it! Angie has been such a blessing to our family and I am so thankful that I contacted her and she was able to be our doula!

My birth would never have been what it was without Angie Porter. Somehow, she just knew every single thing to do. Just....everything. When to be quiet, when to laugh with me, when to hold me up, when to let me be alone. She knew when to suggest things and what to suggest, when to remind me to eat and drink, when to ask my permission and when to ask for my trust in her. I couldn't have asked for any better. I'm looking forward to my next birth next month with Angie as well.  :-) THANK YOU, ANGIE!!!

My husband and I are blessed to have Angie as a part of our birth experience. From day 1 she supported our plan to Hypnobirth. She kept in touch with us weekly and made sure I didn't have any questions or needed any advice. She was always available and made herself very accessible from the start. When our plan began to unravel due to complications with my pregnancy, Angie dropped everything and came over in the middle of the night to console me and my husband and give us the encouragement we needed to move forward. That's what Angie is best at: encouraging and empowering families and making sure they feel like the decisions they make are the right ones. When I was laboring hard on pitocin after 2 other inductions and felt like giving up she reminded me how strong I am. Because of her support I was able to birth naturally and peacefully, just the way I imagined. Once we got home and things got rough again, Angie was right there for me. She helped me try to navigate breastfeeding and when things didn't work for me she made sure I had all the tools I needed to make a good decision for myself and for my baby. She held me when I was down and lifted me up right when I needed it. Angie would say that I could have done it without her but I say I would have never wanted to. I have so much love for Angie and she is forever a part of our lives.

Angie was my doula for my second child. My goal for this birth was an unmedicated VBAC. We talked about my goals and my fears from my last birth. I felt totally supported going into my birth. My labor was very long and Angie was with me the whole time; supporting, encouraging, and empowering me that the choices I was making ( I was induced again) were right for me and my baby. I highly recommend Angie for your next birth. She gives everything to her clients to makes sure you feel supported and safe.
