Tia is an amazing person and Doula. From the day that we met, she always went above and beyond with her kindness and compassion. During our pregnancy, she made frequent contact with us to check up on how we were doing, ask us questions and offer words of encouragement and advice. She helped me prepare for all of the pregnancy milestones so I knew what to expect and what to ask at my appointments. She also loaned us books, videos and provided numerous other resources for our pregnancy journey. We also had several meetings in person during pregnancy.

I started having contractions the week of my due date that continued for several days. She checked on me every day and was available 24/7 offering encouragement and answering questions as I tried to induce/speed up labor. When the day of labor finally arrived, Tia was an angel- I don't even know how to describe how amazing and important she was on that day. I was induced with Pitocin and had the WORST back labor for over 12 hours, and Tia was with me for every moment, encouraging and supporting me, rubbing my back, helping to distract me, and really advocating for me so that I could have the birth that I had desired. She predicted my needs and had things ready for me even before I asked, like water, chapstick, heating pads, etc. This was so important in those crucial moments. And when I thought I could not do it any longer, when I was ready to raise the white flag,  Tia stepped in, advocating for me so that I could get in the tub, and guiding me through transition.

Labor was intense, but I was ultimately able to have the birth I had envisioned, vaginally and with as few interventions as possible. I would not have been able to do it without Tia. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone!

Tia was awesome, from start to finish she helped where she was needed. From walking the halls of the hospital multiple times to giving me words of encouragement when I felt disappointed in myself. I felt strongly about three things with my labor, i Didn't want to be induced, I didn't want an epidural and delivery was specifically for my fiancé and I. When it came down to being in labor though, I was having a difficult time keeping my contractions consistent. I was sick with bronchitis and was progressing so slowly that I decided to be induced and get an epidural. I was so dissappointed in myself but Tia kept reminding me how strong I was and how wonderful I was doing. She even respected my privacy and joined us right after the delivery. I would recommend Tia to anybody. She is a wonderful doula and loves every bit of what she does.
